Please don't ruin raiding

well, they went woke so content is a little slower now.

I like the concept quite a bit. It’s better than the almost year long droughts we get at the end of an expansion.

content can be bad, even in a drought.

Drinking contaminated water will make you sick, whether you are in the desert or rainforest or your own home.

You know that’s not what happens. We know you know that’s not how it works.

"Those people have been getting screwed over all along, they won’t know the difference. At least I’m getting “a little variety”, and those people who still aren’t getting new content should be happy for you?

Sure, you need to mock this. It’s the utter truth. On another game’s forum some years back there was a lot of discussion on some change players on the forum really wanted. The posters said, “Look at all the people who want this. You should do it.”

The devs responded (this is a game where the devs actually did respond) to say that elite players are disproportionately represented on gaming forums, as they are many of the most dedicated players, they know what they want, and they are willing to lobby for it hard.

However, the devs said that what elite players want, what would be good for them, is not necessarily good for the playerbase overall, and thus not good for the game.

It’s just a fact, regardless of whatever need you have to portray the overwhelming majority of paying customers as blithering idiots to suit your own emotional needs.

It happens all the time. Heck even GD has returning from break posts almost daily.

Personally I think they should be happy to have something to try themselves. At the very least, they’re getting the same thing they would have anyway - an expansion that died early.

I’ve never called anyone here an idiot. Dunno what your issue is, but you’re one of the most negative and victim portraying people here, constantly accusing people of stuff and making up things nobody said.

Regardless, GD has never been the domain of actual elite players. Those folks are busy doing the insane amount of stuff it takes to be elite. What you have here is elite forum heroes.

Well those are the 2 of the 3 options, with the other being another expansion rushed out the door before it’s fully ready. The S4 announcement shows that blizzard really does not want to repeat the big mistake of 8.0 and 9.0, and release 10.0 before it’s ready, so they aren’t taking option 3.

You’re going to get the extra 6-12 months of dev time for 10.0 anyway, OP. The only change this makes for raiders is you can choose which of the three raids you want to participate in and engage rather than being stuck with ONLY the current raid. All three will be relevant. It’s adding choices where there were none, the current raid will still be relevant if that’s all you want to do, it’s your choice. Choice = good.

M+ is getting the big makeover with older dungeons entering the cycle from older expansions. Since that’ll completely revamp not only which dungeons we run, but the loot tables available as well.

Get ready for all the healers to do all the lower kara keys for that drape of shame.

I like Kara so I’m not mad. I’m more upset with the new mega dungeon remaining in rotation. I’d have rather seen all 8 dungeons from older expansions and none from this one. Oh well 2/8 is fine I suppose.

They delayed Shadowlands so they had extra time and it’s still awful and had at least 1 full content patch cut.

So … Seems like that’s what we get no matter what.

They delayed it 1 month, when it probably needed another 4.

As a M+ only player and a fond hater of raiding, I’m observing something. It seems like most people that raid seriously seem to dislike the idea’s blizzard is putting out for season 4 for raiding. Probably isn’t a good idea, raid affixes aren’t going to get anyone to pick up raiding. If anything they probably will lose raiders lol.

Nope the last time they cut an expansion down and put more time into another we got legion. Legion was the last expansion that was seen as “good” (not by all but many).
