Please dont repeat DS heroic +

Please don’t give LFR gear from heroic plus in mop… it killes the drive to progress, i find myself unable to really want to get into the raiding scene in cata due to the fact a few Heroic plus dungeons and boom i have full raid gear in one full day of play…

Please please just add LFR so casuals like myself can have fun in the raids on our schedule and make some alternative gearing options or achievements come from heroic plus… gaurnteed raid loot kills erive to do more

No thanks. The current system we have is legit perfect for people actively playing, returning players and new players alike. Call me crazy but people play the more modern versions of the game for the endgame not necessarily the journey. Being able to get full prebis and ready to hop into raid on a alt in around 19-20 hours of playing heroic+ is great.

Also you can just find guilds who ONLY do normal mode if you want a more chill experience.

There’s literally no reason to not have both

Yeah I suppose not. But I do believe the current system we have is better.

More than likely H+ will be a phase 2 thing that drops the raid gear from the previous raid tier. Besides DS thats exactly how it was used for.

Even when a new raid tier comes out the previous raid tier groups dry up. H+ is a perfect way to catch up alts on gear.

They wouldn’t already be implementing a phase 2 thing on the beta when there are still phase 1 things they haven’t even tested yet

At best they aren’t going to open until Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring open

I hope not its really dumb i can get full dragonsoul gear for my characters and never step inside of dragonsoul… cant get invited to groups cause i have no logs as i stopped playing cata in phase 1 but tbh having full 384 390 and 397 boes why should i bother trying to do DS normal

A lot of guilds are recruiting if you want to get into raiding, pugs generally have higher standards moreover at the end of a patch. You should be able to clear some heroic bosses with the gear you have and with the raid debuff and I’m sure heroic raid gear is a pretty big upgrade.

Personally I’m a big fan of having a way to get LFR items as it add some type of bad luck protection and make it much easier to get your tier set which can be very annoying.

Idk the way you think about it but the difference between 384 gear and 410 gear is huge.

You can get the set bonuses, and a watered-down version of the procs, but it is not the same gear and it is noticeable when you upgrade it.

idk about this. I think it just really depends on the group. I did 4/8 Heroic, and the rest normal on my first ever DS run by messaging, “I haven’t been to DS yet, ilvl 390 from twilight runs.” It was a very low parsing group, with some wipes, but about what you’d expect from a pretty decent pug group.

Anyway, that’s obviously just an anecdotal single experience, but I don’t think it’s anywhere near impossible to get into pug groups without logs.

There’s definitely a lot of groups willing to take you now, I don’t think it’s as bad as retail when it comes to requirements for pugging moreover when the raid debuff makes heroic very easy.

I played the first raid tier in TWW, and it didn’t seem like it was too difficult to get invites into PuG groups either, but it’s much more streamlined there, so you have a very clear idea of what the requirements are.

IDK, to be honest it feels like Blizzard is practically spoonfeeding its players and they are complaining that they have to open their mouths to let the food in!

I mostly remember in Amirdrassil I was trying to join heroic pugs (to get the legendary 2h) on tuesdays and it sometimes took an hour to join one if I wasn’t making my own even if I was keeping up with other people in term of ilvl.

Oh, I think that’s a good point. Days/times and of course class and role can all make for different experiences. If you’re trying to get into a PuG on a Tuesday night, chances are you’re looking to fill in a spot for an organized group while they are looking to bring in some lifting power.

That’s quite contrasted to a weekend group that’s more likely an alt group with a more casual outlook.

But yeah, I guess there can be difficulties finding a group at times, but it’s nowhere near impossible just because one doesn’t have logs. Of course, you can’t be as picky.

I should point out that this made me chuckle.

OP, you’re 100% correct. So naturally Blizz does the opposite. For whatever reason the Classic team really doesn’t want casual players.

Yea it’s mainly why I started to make my own group, which would still fill rather fast. I got confused at first when it happened, it rarely happens at least to me. As when it comes to dungeons I end up tanking and for raiding normally aotc+ good ilvl is good enough to get invited quickly.

HARD disagree, gearing through dungeons is vastly superior to having 1 chance a week to potentially get nothing in LFR.

Idk if you’ve played retail or not. But LFR is very much a failed system. Everyone just needs on everything because you simply can. They can vendor it or disenchant it or maybe the only valid reason they want it for transmog. But all 3 of those reasons are ridiculous to take over people that actually need it. Heck I lost 2 tier pieces to maxed out character yesterday on my new one I was gearing up and his reasoning was “I rolled because I can”.

Which yes I get people can do in the twilight dungeons but if someone screws you over you aren’t screwed over for the entire week you can queue again.

I’ll keep saying it:, the people that want LFR have no idea idea how terrible the gearing system really is.

They literally think you queue up and after 5 minutes the queue pops and then you clear the wing in 15 minutes.

But its LFR gear not actual real DS gear. Join ur server discord plenty of guilds recruiting.
