Please don't release SL without first

…communicating and talking with the beta testers in the forums. Please have actual developers dialog with us.

The last two xpacs have had ever issue discussed (bad legendary acquisition to terrible AZ traits to bad power grinding to bad GCD decisions to “fill in the blank”) and none of it was discussed with the customer.

I am tired of “we learned lots” when it was all spelled out in beta forums and ignored.

I begged just about every day in the alpha / beta along with 50 other Paladins, pointing out how useless some of our talents were.

They changed one and made it a mediocre passive that nobody ever picks.

They don’t do that. Real testing is basically in house/with earlier raid testers or junk. In the phases we are in it is more seeing problems due to lots of players being on (stress test.)

Any bugs you see by then, will be in the final game (and in the case of hidden mine/herb nodes in zangermarsh, during the Burning Crusade beta, 13 years later still.)

They can’t, they fired the people that did that.

Do you want SL to release at all? Communication is a big ask for a multi million dollar company. Could impact the bottom line.

Uuhhh…I think I have some bad news for you, buddy.

Sorry but I think my 1 month old nephew might have better communication skills.

Unless something big changes internally you’re gonna be disappointed.

I’d rather they beta tested/did bug fixing for SL beta for a full year before they released it. It’s been a while since the game has had it’s golden Blizzard polish. Is it still better than everything else released? Yeah. Is it as polished as it should be? Absolutely not.

I don’t expect much communication. This company has flipped over to the dark side. I figure just vote with my wallet is all I can do.

They won’t do a damn thing no matter what people say. Beta is just using people to test the game. They have no intentions of changing what they have planned just like all the other Xpacs Beta testing they didn’t listen to one word or change anything. Its like their attitude “”“Don’t you have a mobile Phone”"" They don’t give a rats hoot sorry.

Your plea falls on deaf ears

The purpose of beta testing is to catch and fix as many bugs as possible. Changing core game systems at that point would be too difficult.

Given how the last few Betas have turned out, they’re not even that.

They’re just there to build hype at this point. An early access preview and that’s all. Bugs can be clear as day and screamed from the rooftops and they’ll persist for patches, if not forever.

Yes beta testers on the forums:

Blizz: How is the Game, any bugs?

Forums: Why are Kul Titans fat

B: uh, what about the systems?

F: Why can’t we be naked?

Dude, you will consume it and you will like it. Or not.

The days of polished Blizzard consumer-friendly products is gone.

I’d much rather them stop naming dates when stuff will come out.
Work on it until it’s done, Blizzard. You’ll get more quality that way, and much happier customers.

I guess you can ignore the mega-threads on the beta forums that detailed the exact things that Ion would be admitting don’t work well six months later, if it works better for your “point”.

“beta testing” these days is just advertising

I say no one beta tests and when issues come up in SL and people start complaining and Blizz goes why didn’t you all say something in Beta we all go .

“You ignored us during the Legion and BfA betas so why should we think you’d listen to us for this one”
