Streamers and youtubers such as stoopz and savix are pushing this so hard but it’s a garbage fix for a problem that’s a lot deeper to be fixed with solo queue, this is not overwatch and your character is not tracer, you’re limited to comp and strats and communication in arena is a must at any decent level of gameplay. Sure you can have rating on Skirmish but that won’t solve anything and it will just be a waste of resource on Blizzard’s part without fixing the real issue. 3V3 arena is not meant to be played SOLO in first place, and who cares about playing a dumbed down version of arena which is “solo queuue” that won’t have the 3 pillars of 3v3 arena literally no comms, no comps no strats. At this point 3v3 arena is built on those 3 pillars, without those 3 pillars it’s basically not 3v3 arena. I will still rather to sit in LFG waiting for real arenas rather than wasting my time playing a abomination version of arena for the sake of playing, Instead of trying to push for dumb fixes please ask blizzard to invest into their LFG tool and incentivize team play over trying to push the LFR version for pvp that will make the game even more less social and dumbed down
I don’t get why make devs waste their time and energy to create a skirmish version with rating? want solo queue? queue skirms.
Make lfg better and give people a reason to play with each other and form teams, that’s how arena is meant to be played, and when you find a team its the most fun ever.
Quite the opposite really. Devs stated way back when that they couldn’t justify the development resources for raids when so few people were experiencing/seeing the content. Thus LFR was born.
solo que would do 0 for this game. DPS specs are not interchangeable with one another the same way they are in LoL, overwatch, literally any other competitive game. Same to a lesser degree gos for healers.
maybe they can add it to boost playtime metric the same way they added LFR which everybody hates and makes fun of, doesn’t consider actual content.
arena soloque is 10x stupider than LFR
I genuinely think these streamers on the warpath for soloque are doing it to pander to their casual viewers who don’t care about or even realize the fact that incaps DR with eachother lol
so whats the point of implementing a system that benefits 1400 players only? nah thank you also in LoL there is 70 champions that can play a role, in WoW there is only 1 rogue, there is only 1 warrior, there is no replacement, you can basically ban X in LoL and still do the same thing with Y but in WoW, because of DRs the game is mean to be played in a very limited manner
solo q could only work for 2s and rbgs and the problem then becomes do you kick all healers out of solo q 2s? cause thatll tilt people to see soloq with healer teams.
