Duo and trio are cheese imo. They simply mow the areas down. Definitely not a survival approach to hardcore.

I’m not a fan of duos or trios either; I think the addon developers should have put their foot down and said no to all that. it does trivialize the challenge.

that said, only trading between 2-3 friends exclusively does not lead to RMT.

Unless you make gold non tradeable and remove AH as well RMT will happen. Tale as old as MMO’s. Nothing will ever remove it besides making gold a defunct item essentially. Even then people would just RMT something else. MMO’s prior to wow had RMT and MMO’s will forever have them.

Only thing to truly stop it is the whole player base not partaking but that isn’t ever gonna happen.

But it’s convenient if we want to roleplay and not “annoy” others by using party chat.
And then there’s the trading thing for tradeskill stuffs.
