That’s why you ask for them to actually respectfully add in such a character. It should not be all that defines them.
Every character (for the most part) should be able to stand on their own if you remove their sexuality. There has to be more to the character than “oh that’s the token gay one”.
Lucky me I’m not asking for it from you.
But I’m curious why do you think it won’t happen?

Yes. I agree 100%. We aren’t in any disagreement there. But, when I try to ask for proper representation I get drowned out by the masses who only want a gay guy because, “There isn’t a gay guy in your movie, cha.”

It’s foolish to just check the box. No one likes that.
But more representation is a good thing. Especially if the characters are in places of power, import, or just have neat or cool storylines.

Please cite the number of white neighborhoods being redlined by black run banks. Please cite the number of white students who had to be escorted to their schools by the National Guard when desegregation was initiated. Please cite the number of unarmed white men shot by black policemen. When you find that those numbers match what’s been going on to people of color, then you can talk.

I love how every comment of mine is flagged, even other people’s that are similar. I never insulted, or berated anyone. Simply explained why I didn’t fully agree. Oh, oh…and I took screenshots and took records…just so anyone knows.

Exactly (not sure if you meant it literally), that’s my point. A character can show no signs of being anything other than heterosexual, literally have had relationships with women, had children, is written as straight even in their internal dialogue (Iceman for them X-Men), but under some LGBT+ people’s opinion that character’s “true” sexuality is still up in the air. That is ridiculous. That is what many of us call forced diversity. There has to be a line drawn somewhere or essentially all characters are just LGBT’s waiting to come out…

To be fair, I flagged Truthspeaker for the blatant racist comments and only the racist comments. I would never do that to anyone who has a difference of opinion.

And Blizz doesn’t do a lot about the abuse, sadly.
Last I heard, more unarmed white men are shot and killed by police than unarmed black men. I could be wrong but I do know the media is blowing things way out of proportion since the number of people killed by police is dwarfed by people killed by other civilians.
