You have no idea how the Eagle replacement will work in (barely relevant) solo content. Crying now is premature.
Or maybe offer feedback because game developers should rely on it (like they’re supposed to) and hope that said terrible idea doesn’t come into fruition.

Well, if you do not like it once you have tried it, then I understand. At least give it a shot and see how things work first.
You don’t though, 2 of the 3 specs still use pets. Why does it bother you that people who don’t want a pet will have something to play?

Honestly curious of why the Eagle was included and how it’ll function if the class fantasy for MM is solo ranger. Because if the bird functions like a regular pet then those who want to keep their pets they use for MM should be allowed to keep them.

Going from a spec that doesn’t play with a pet to a spec that still doesn’t play with a pet is not likely to introduce new bugs.
As a temporary pet. Which it still is.

I know I use a pet on mine. I don’t do group content.

The petless aspect of the spec is not going to introduce bugs because that is not a change. The new abilities will be the cause of bugs. Is that more clear for you?

Which is why you don’t realize MM hasn’t used a pet since legion as it’s a massive dps loss and why it’s an issue that you have to call a pet in order to lust

I really hope that this is just adjacent to the ‘lone wolf’.
Almost all of my hunter are MM, I enjoy having the single pet. A lot of them tamed their pets way back in Wrath and MoP, and have just one steady special pet this whole time.
I like MM becuase I feel like I equally shared damage with the pet, the pet feels more like a special companion. I have a couple of BM hunters, but I don’t like them that much and having to switch my hunters all to BM to retain their pets feels wrong.
I am really hoping they don’t kill the hunter class like this.
