Yeah by getting rid of lone wolf making you rely on pets more.
Bad hunters that only play solo.
Majority of hunters are happy with this.

No one asked for this change. The pet is a choice to use or not. If they do this change it is a sign of worse things to come for all classes. What ever manager wanting this change needs to be fired.

That’s great and people that play hunters, specifically MM hunters, couldnt care a less about their pets from a global standpoint. We want changes to make MM the class it was meant to be but it keeps getting brought down by people who play MM ans want it to be a pet spec. IT IS NOT A PET SPEC and should not be treated as one but they found a middle of the ground approach and gave us a cool spotters eagle that actually fits into the theme of MM. I agree you should not lose your ability to summon pets, but then if yiu choose to summon something besides the eagle then you lose the benefits of all the talents associated with it because, again, MM has not been a hunter spec with a Pet in REAL substance for about 10+ years. Just because YOU or someone else plays it wrong doesnt mean we should cater to you

I keep my pet out even when LW is enabled. Mainly out of laziness, and because the damage buff it doesn’t make much difference in solo content.
Just because it’s enabled, it doesn’t mean I want to abandon or use my pet.
Are they now? Then we shall see how populated major cities are with hunters if they are so wanting this change.

People complained when it went melee, because “hunters are ranged”, so there’s objection on what defines a hunter.

Next stop. Totems removed from Shaman and instead you can just use a passive to give you the buffs from the totems.

I don’t care about solo players. They do content that these changes don’t actually matter.
However the majority of people who play group content in a group based game are happy with these changes.

Have you noticed it’s only low level alts and people that don’t even play hunter complaining about this change?

Buddy, they added Lone Wolf BECAUSE marksmanship isnt neant to have a pet. Its a sniper, sharpshooter class that has no reliance on a pet in any way and doesnt NEED the thing. No MM hunter has ever NEEDED the pet. But because a bunch of people who play MM instead of BM want their pets, the real MM players who have asked for a design change and REAL talents finally get something and are told by pet lovers, who dont need the pet in MM, to shove it. No. Go play the 2 pet specs you already have and leave the players that want a real ranged physical damage class alone

I got it 10 years ago, they are just making it better by not having to support a feature they deprecated so long ago.
You chose to play a game based on group content solo.
You don’t get to complain when the devs fix a specs issue that is affecting them in group content because this is a group content focused game.
I’m not even big on mplus but yes. The game is going to prioritize group content like raiding and mplus when it comes to
Balancing and class changes.
I can also intentionally play the game it wasn’t designed for and then come to the forums and complain that it isnt catering to me
I admit I dropped out of this thread yesterday afternoon but catching up on it I’ve noticed two things people that claim they care about pets but don’t wanna play Beastmastery which is the pet centric spec or they don’t play Marksmanship how it’s actually supposed to be played so they think it matters if they aren’t a raider or mythic person and don’t wanna use lone wolf and play the spec properly how it’s suppose to be played.
