None of them have the numbers. They’re just trying to make it seem like their pov has merit.
All this matter is for raiders. It’s only a portion of hunters, not most or all.
Don’t forget the poison to everything in this game, Mythic+.
I 100% disagree with removing MM Hunter Pets. If anything I would suggest MM pets get bonuses to utility rather than BMs pet damage focus.
If you want a full on sniper class then add one to the game…
Sure feels nice having choices striped from us. I guess they don’t want to let players go their own way and choose. This is what will bring a lot to move to classic or to play something else.
It’s only MM that’s losing tamable pets, not Survival or BM, and that’s being replaced with a special eagle-pet.
I’m guessing the majority of MM Hunters don’t use pet (except, at sufferance, for their abilities) which is why they’ve made this change. Personally, I’m looking forward to it.
There is always classic …that’s what the players have been telling me for weeks.
Yeah and a good portion of the player base is their now. Cause they know retail is not in a good spot right now.
I really wish there was a class added to the game called Ranger. A second class in the game that uses bows and guns would be good anyway. The problem is— things like hero talents especially and generally many abilities would overlap with this new class and Hunter. But I’d love if they could make it work.
There’s already a sniper spec in the game. It’s even called “Marksmanship”.
This kind of overlap already exists in a sense between many of the spellcaster classes.
I don’t see a problem with them creating an entire new class dedicated enitrely to being a ranged gun/bows class with absolutely no pets.
I feel similarly about Priest. I think Shadow needs to be moved into a whole new class that would be void and shadow magic themed, especially since Midnight is coming. Then let Priest have a 3rd spec which would be a Holy magic ranged DPS in its place. Random off topic example, but I feel like in the modern day, the game would be better off and more diverse with more unique and varied classes instead of themes being hodgepodged into one class in such a discordant way at times. Which is exactly what’s happening between the Marksmanship people and the people that really just want a Ranger.
You don’t believe in shadow priests?
I’d literally name the new class Shadow Priest. I think they’re so unique at this point, developing 3 individual playstyles would be a great service to the spec/proposed class. Wouldn’t be too crazy of a naming convention seeing as how we already have Hunter and Demon Hunter in the game. Of course, they are nothing alike but similar names aren’t a big deal in my opinion.
I am here for this change. Bout time Hunters got a more unique and useful spec.
Not even. It’s for any content outside of raid because most raids are going to have other classes that can list.
It’s mostly mplus and other types of group content.
Over 60% of the player base raids.
Then factor in mplus and any other group content.
Solo players are the minority.
Incorrect. It’s better to not talk about things you don’t have a clue about.
They’re not… MM with a pet doesn’t make sense, needing a lust pet, to dismiss after using it… makes no sense either… lone wolf means, lone wolf
No. People are on classic because it’s the end of the tier. This happens every tier. It’s why blizzard doesn’t release everything at once.
Most people at this point have hit their goals for the tier.
Which is why blizzard overlaps releasing new content during this lul. This happens literally every expansion.
Literally just seperate the move from the pet.
Lone wolf is an optional talent, optional talent means optional talent. But hey, good thing the lone wolf is now going to have a bird always there that they now can’t fight without, really screaming lone wolf like that
Should change the talents name to “Just an Eagle.”
