“The Top 100 Breakdown” is what the infographic shows, anymore and no infographic. Further if you just want to do ‘top’ players than mine is as relevant as yours. The question wasn’t whether the talent is better for DPS, but just the fact that overall lone wolf could be taken less than you seem to think. Your forum parses are flagging.
You and others keep rattling “Lone wolf is always/majority taken” but the only info you have is from ‘top parses’ which only shows what the ‘top parses’ use. I sure ain’t arguing Lone Wolf does better DPS (Currently). That is not the argument. If you want to say majority then you’d need data from every available 80 hunter, not just the ones that are ‘parsed high’ or ‘rated high’ for all forms of content. Good luck finding a data source for that.

Care to explain why you believe that to be so? Because we did infact read. It may only be something they are considering thus far, but the fact it is even a serious consideration on Blizzards end is the reason people are reacting to it. Now, while it is still only in the consideration stage, is the best time to voice our opinions on the change. If we are heard now, then alternatives can be explored before development time is wasted on a feature that will ultimately be hated by the community.

If you get top 5 pvp players from x3, x2, shuffle and blittz, you get 20 players, 18 use pet and only 2 don’t.
One was in x2, so obviously he was making a comp for burst, the other was in blittz, so more likely he changed for the orb BG where pet a.i is more wonky.
Pet is valuable more than using the basic ability.

And as I said in the 3rd paragraph, you are one of those casuals who mains a MM who loves his pet. You are a casual who feels strongly enough about it that you will quit. This demographic exists. But you are unfortunately the one who will lose out the most.

I hate pets. All of them. No poop owl, no spotting eagle. I want them all gone from the spec as mandatory picks. But, I confine that decision to me. I am fully on board with those who love pets in MM to being able to keep that choice, because I respect their player agency and choices.

End of the day CE is a lot higher than 1890 rbg/shuffle rating.
