I know people like you will always find a way to think it’s bad to make improvements to gameplay or specs like this but you’ll adapt and keep playing Marksmanship, change specs to Beastmastery or Survival, change classes or quit playing.

I don’t understand the folks saying “we neeeeed a pet for solo content!” Every other ranged spec in the game that isn’t Warlock or BM figured it out, why can’t you? And they don’t even have traps or FD.
I don’t even play hunter and I agree. Pets are “the” defining reason most people play hunter.

You obviously haven’t read my posts. I agree removing most of the pet utility to the pet and onto the hunter is a net good. I don’t think taking away the ability to summon a pet is good because it offers no benefit.

It does when having the pet is useless and the goal is to have a soloing spec like a sharpshooter, Marksmanship has never been pet centric and they are finally making it where all three specs will be completely different which is great.
Solo play.
But why?
But they’ve always had a pet as an option and attempts to take it away before have always been backtracked.

For you, then dont summon, its not useless for others.
Clearly this is not the goal, since you will not be solo, you will have a dumb bird as visual effect pet.

People can soon enough and others like you will adapt or move on, it’s not that deep.
All this overdramatization over an improvement to the spec and game.
Or they can not remove it for solo play and cause zero damage to zero people.

Yeah lets see if they actually care considering if most of you complainers had actually read the notes or looked at the new talent tree you’d know it’s all tied to the change and the upcoming eagle and I just don’t think they are going to accommodate you, just like they didn’t for the water elemental people or the people that disliked melee Survival because you can adapt it’s not that deep.

Maybe you and others should consider classic after this goes live because you still have awhile before it catches up to current WoW then you can continue to play your Marksmanship Hunter with a pet and let others that want to play it properly with the improvements solo do so as well.
You seem to refuse to acknowledge that we support increased QoL and decreased reliance on pets. The only difference between our ideologies is I want pet to remain an option, you do not. Other then that we want the same thing.
