Please don’t remove Hunter pets

Ah yes. The only two pet classes we have in the game, aren’t comparable to each other.

Especially when comparing a Destruction Warlock, who doesn’t require a minion to do its DPS, to an MM Hunter who also doesn’t require a pet to do your dps. And the Comparability between a Destruction Warlock having to summon a Felhunter to cast an interrupt, to an MM hunter having to call out their pet to cast Lust.

And you’re nitpicking my sentence, you understood what I meant and instead of going along with it… nitpicked it.

So they weren’t that big, but they were still enough to shoot us up to 2nd place with a small bug.

honestly, it makes sense that a marksman
would not have a pet.
personally, i greatly enjoyed having kill command
and aimed shot and rapid fire.
but that never really made a lot of sense.

Just quoting myself because copy/pasting the same replies to y’all is pointless especially when you aren’t even trying to comprehend.
You don’t need stats to tell you what’s literally right in front of your face.

Are you even paying attention to what is being said or just using your own personal experience and calling me wrong based on that?

You said you were leaving and keep claiming I am making stuff up.

:dracthyr_shrug:

You obviously don’t care about anything beyond your own opinion on the matter.

You’re imagining a problem and imagining that there’s no possible solution to it. Pretty pretty pretty you are :ok_hand:

Considering one has a talent that gives 5% extra damage to each target and one doesn’t means no you can’t compare them.

Then you should probably learn how grimoire sac works.

Nope. Your argument just has zero validity because you don’t understand either class and then try to compare them

Let’s buff pet speed by 100%, give pets AOE damage, and buff pet damage by 500%. Let’s see how many people still use LW.

To be clear, these are just arbitrary numbers to show that it could be solved, Blizzard just doesn’t care enough to try.

Daily reminder: They won’t be here in 2 months regardless of how many times you copy/paste this.
Its done. At least for the rest of the xpac.

Gonna be an unpopular opinion, but this change to just this 1 spec might actually encourage me to make a hunter lol. I always like the idea of a ranged physical dps class that does not need a pet, or has too many pet related abilities.

Like the Rogue or Amazon from D2, powerful physical ranged classes but no need for a pet (yeah, obviously different games, but still) because they’d focus on kiting and snares.

Might actually give hunter a shot here if it means I have minimal pet interaction.

Nope. Patch isn’t even out yet.

Apparently some people need a gentle reminder that the PTR hasn’t even started yet.

I am STILL required to pull out my minion to SAC it to get its ability. Though, you once again loose out on a static buff of 3% damage increase on all targets by taking it. So, in a sense, its the opposite of Lone Wolf. Nobody takes Sac, unless specifically required, and instead takes Summoner’s Embrace.

And I’m now remembering why I stopped responding to you, you are here only to cause discord instead of having intelligent conversations you nitpick, state I don’t understand things but don’t clarify my “misunderstanding.” And even when giving clear as day comparisons, Between the only things that can be compared… “They can’t be compared.”

Not that I need to validate it. But I’ve played both classes for over 17 years. So please. Stop being, as you put it “bad faith.” - Not that you’re response to this obviously won’t be “Lol, then obviously you haven’t been playing.” cause again, you’re only here for the discord.

And I even put that as a possible change to Lone Wolf. It becomes the MM hunters version of the Sac.

And notice the lack of outrage to stop them from pushing it through.

and its also obvious,
unsure why seething nopet bois are so toxic and refusing plain obvious things

WE don’t even know this much.

They put up their proposed changes.

It could already be changed. It oculd already be dumpstered. It could be nothing like how it currently reads.

It could even possibly read like the holy grail, and when encountering it on the PTR it could be like opening a taco bells restroom door.

Nothing is set in stone.

Also, the PTR is going to take about 3 months, so that’s plenty of time to make any changes.

I honestly don’t even think the PTR will last that long. As WoWhead has speculated that 11.1.0 could launch as early as February.

Meaning we might have a month, maybe 1.5 months of PTR before 11.1.0 hits if it comes out mid-February.

no changes necessary, patch is perfect as is

right here.

It depends on tuning. There have been multiple instances where Aff and Destro have taken sac.

But you don’t understand. You still have yet to address the balance issues of LW and no LW in aoe situations.

You do realize that playing both classes for “17 years” doesn’t mean anything right?

You can play a class since vanilla and still be awful at it.

Yet someone can come play a class for 2 years and be miles better than you.

Time played means absolutely zero especially if you have played it in trivial content that doesn’t require improvement at any level.
