Go play dark souls then.
I’m fine with Delves being hard. What’s not fine is that they were supposed to be 10-15 minute adventures.
Right now, they take more like 20-30 minutes and it’s not because they’re hard, it’s because non elite packs with no real mechanical challenge have 5 million HP and elite packs have 25 million HP.
Delves are not hard. They do not do anything mechanically challenging or interesting. They’re just health sponged loot pinatas.
Make Delves difficult, make it a 10-15 minute challenge as was advertised and add some mechanically interesting fights, PLEASE.
Except they actually give loot! And you if you are getting loot elsewhere you dont have to go. Which is what I wished for Torghast as I did actually enjoy doing it.
Yes, me too. Also, if you solo you have Brann. Cool!
Is Zekvir supposed to show up in a T3? That has happened twice for me.
The differing opinions are a result of personal experiences, such as the types of delves they did and also when they did them because of the constant tweaks the devs have been doing all week, it’s a whole mess. Also, when people say “easy” or “hard” it’s all subjective. Most of the time when players say “hard” they typically don’t mean difficult but rather annoying and needlessly time consuming.
I am talking about cold hard facts that aren’t influenced by variables. Plate classes that have access to self healing are and have always been the go to for soloing, for very obvious reasons. The reverse is true for cloth class with no self healing. That’s not an opinion, it’s a fact based on how the game works.
You absolutely can. Tune the encounters to specs.
And when I said all other things equal, I didnt mean class, spec I meant gear ilevel and skill.
Yeah it’s a possible bonus event which can also award you with loot or a delve map that gives guaranteed loot at the end of the run.
Yes, although I feel as if the mobs don’t hit as hard when dominated as they do when they’re not. >.>
Classic era solo mage farms would say otherwise. Specific plate specs with self healing are better for soloing some things, absolutely, but to state that you’re talking about cold hard facts and then immediately disregard variables is talking about a game we aren’t playing. Everything is influenced by a lot of variables.
In a vacuum, yes, a class that takes less auto attack damage and can press a button that immediately heals itself would be better when face-tanking a non-caster mob if no other variables are present. Regardless, what you responded to is that people can’t agree and that remains true. There has been a warrior in here at some point claiming 8s were mathematically impossible.
If they make the mechanics interesting (hard), all the forum lemmings will have a meltdown though.
I’d rather have this than boring health sponge simulator for 30 minutes
“I don’t want the nerf! I don’t want the nerf! I don’t want the nerf!”
GRABS THE NERF
“All right Mutha Suckas!”
putting your own selfishness over everyone else. If you still want the challenge you can do higher tier delves
A person has to be selfish, if one does not look out for ones own desires and needs, nobody else will. Perhaps you are the selfish one for wanting to ruin the experience of another for the gain of your own? The statement works both ways, it often does when it comes to using the word selfish.
This is a little off topic, but I was just finishing up Tek-Rathan Abyss. I got killed doing the mech guy. And it did nothing when I tried to release spirit. My computer was not frozen. The game would not let me quit, or put a release string in the chat. I had to force a shut down of my laptop. Is there any other way to release?
Thank you!
If 8’s are too hard for you, you can still play a spec that you’ll have an easier time on.
No need to retard the content and force people into higher tier content because some stubborn people want to play the wrong specs for the content they’re doing.
Sweetie, I understand how you feel but this is false.
Shadow Priest is the only one that can interrupt but it has a 30 second CD if you take the upgrade and Scream has a node where you can fear enemies in place.
I’m not trying to sound rude but if you’re gonna have complaints with the class at least make sure your information is correct.
How is that even remotely relevant to the issue at hand? And for the record, I was playing back then and vividly remember the dance where you pulled all the elite Scarlet Crusade mobs at Tyr’s Hand and kited them in a circle around your Blizzard. That was also not fun even if it was effective. But something like this isn’t even possible anymore and hasn’t been for years.
That’s all I was saying and yes, it’s a fact.
I should have clarified that I meant reasonable people. I tend to take that for granted but you’re absolutely right that it isn’t always a given on these forums.
Then let them? This place doesn’t represent the majority.
