It’s not like this is an issue players can do nothing about like when that feast in Wrath I believe it was could physically block your path, that certainly needed a Blizzard action to be fixed but chat? Nah, I can make my chat show or hide whatever I want. If I wanted to I could make chat show /spit every time someone said Blizzard

Retail is officially a dumpster fire since BfA so whatever they do going forward will just give me more reason to not buy the next expansion, classic is all I play now and if I go back to retail it’ll be just for Chromie Time leveling alts for fun.
If they changed Nat Pagle to something else, then the game is truly dead to me.
I don’t have any friends from past guilds I’ve been in that actually plays anymore so not a big deal.

I think it was them saying they’ll stop naming npcs after employees and will be more diligent when naming etc… they’d be pretty busy with a lot of the non-lawsuit names since it’s full of 'em in WoW.
The first one explicitly says that characters won’t be named after developers in the future, going forward.
The second one just talks about how they’re removing references to Jesse McCree, Luis Barriga, and Jon LeCraft.
So…yes. You are reading it wrong.

No, it is the age of holding people responsible for misbehavior, and not celebrating serial sexual predators with tributes in-game.

I’ll be honest, I really don’t care about sexual predators at all. I don’t think about it, and my only concern is the quality of the game I pay to play. How they treat their employees doesn’t particularly concern me; I just want to preserve the nostalgia of the world I choose to inhabit and restore the fun we somehow lost along the way.
I don’t mind if sexual predators are fired or prosecuted or whatever, just don’t let it impede the game’s recovery.
