Sorry, sounds like you should have played SoM. World buffs are based and chronoboon makes it very easy.

Just dont get them if you dont want them. No one can force you to get them.
World buff meta blows. It trivializes PvE content and inflates dps for no reason. Gathering WBs also sucks.
Either completely remove them, or give the NPC at start of raids that automatically applies all of them.

I understand SOM didnt have buffs but we’re talking SOD and that irony is completely made up
