I humbly request you do not bring back the level 60 word buff meta from classic.
Im going to commit to SOD but will leave the moment its confirmed world buffs will be the same as classic.

They’re adding WBs in the first phase connected to BFD and it’s a mini Dragonslayer buff.
Safe to say if they’re adding new ones, the old one’s aren’t going anywhere.

I would take it a sign they’re replacing the old world buffs with new ones.
They will be back, but I wish they weren’t. I hate world buff meta and Warriors were still top dps even without world buffs, provided you knew how to play.

Honestly removing the world buffs would most likely be a good balance check to the extra power we are going to gain and completely removes one of the biggest pains in the behind

Half assed research
SOM was unsuccessful, what did we change? must be becuase of world buffs. Done.
Completely ignoring the fact SOM was full of the die hard warriors while the bulk of classic players (dads) were off playing tbc and wrath.
The majority of SOM players may have wanted world buffs but the majority of classic players dont.
If the meta is the same it will lose more players then it keeps.
But hey… as long as warriors only issue is trying to get under 80 rage to proc there new rune everythings peachy

Honestly, I’m okay with them in the open world but I think they shouldn’t work in Dungeons and Raids. The reason why is right now there is a LOT of tuning/abilities/testing going on with SoD.
Now with a BFD world buff, this might be their chance at seeing how World Buffs MIGHT apply to the new builds and such, basically testing the waters.
Hopefully we won’t reach a point however where everyone wants World Buffs for raids and min/max around them (since they could just pause when entered) and focus more on player skill (with new abilities that we probably will get between 25-40, 40-50, or heck even the 50-60 ones).

Hopefully the classes will feel strong enough with all the new changes at 60 they will be fun to play without world buffs. They will need to buff raids an extreme amount if we have both.
Its not so bad now… you can save the word buffs in an item and use when needed

Players didn’t need them back in Vanilla but all these years later, players infinitely better at the game do? No, they’re just a crutch.
And the added strength from these runes will make the content somewhat easier anyway, as you say.

Chrono fixes the issue of raid logging but nothing else
They created more issues in raid for the short time they were in
I like worldbuffs they make the world active.
Plenty of guilds didn’t bother with them, if you really don’t care for them join a more casual group.

The buffs will be converted into an item that you can use anytime
Keep them but health reduce their power. Bypassing mechanics is dumb. But keep the buffs in for the parsers
Cant be a world buff discussion without someone saying “you dont have to get them”
Knowing full well, if you want to compete in the parsing meta that is classic wow you have to get them
Tbc and wrath ur able to be the best through ur skill and ur raids skill
World buff meta is about being the best through ur buff collection during the week
I dont see how this can ever be seen as a positive.
I understand world buffs help with community but id hope blizzard could put their thinking caps on and come up with an alternative community building approach without all the negatives world buffs bring

Aggrend essentially confirmed world buffs.
He said there would either be world buffs and harder content, or baseline content with no world buffs.
I am a fan of no world buffs + harder content, but it is what it is. The powers that be decided it would be one or the other. Not both.
