I actually agree that twinking was an issue that really ruined low-level BGs, and it was pretty much completely detrimental to the game, I don’t even get the appeal of it, just to stomp new and non-geared players? Anyway, even with this I still wouldn’t want them to change anything, it feels like a slippery slope.

This is the one of the biggest problems new players are gonna face, People will not put up with Twinks, They will just stop queing or cancel there sub,
Why pay for a monthly sub and be grave yard camped by the guy carrying warsong flag .
This is not 2005, You twinks might have quick que’s at Launch, But when “Leveling Player A” has been GY camped enough He gonna start thinking BG will be a waste of time due to people overgeared and been useless against Rogues with Pocket Healers sitting on Discord.
Twinks will be killing Classic and they don’t even know it.

Your fun is not > someone else’s fun. Besides, BGs at low levels in Vanilla reward zero experience; you and everyone else in there is in there exclusively because you chose to be there.

Last I looked, no one forces anyone to push the queue button. And queues will be fine because twinking isn’t an overwhelmingly popular play style; it’s a niche thing taken on by players with resources to burn. It was a niche thing in Vanilla and it’ll be a niche thing in Classic.

Look, I hate getting murdered by twinks as much as anyone, but it’s a part of the game (and something I actually kind of hope to visit when I get a level 60 and can farm the money up to buy gear for a twink). My best advice is if twinks raise your BP up that much…then don’t queue, it’s not worth having a heart attack over. Or level a 60 and then make a twink of your own.

My memory of low level bg’s in vanilla was entirely a memory of getting spit on in graveyards.

I don’t know if there is any compromise between #noChange and the fact that some of the systems in vanilla were pretty bad, but if there is it’s with BG’s and the gawd awful PvP rank system.

I remember when i used to think twinking was cowardly or lame, and not just someone preferring to enjoy a certain level of pvp. That was about 10-12 years ago.

Twinking isn’t any different than gearing yourself up for endgame BGs, people just dont care about their character’s gear until max level, And then complain that they’re being killed by people who are investing time and money into their characters gear.

Just because they’re better geared than you doesn’t mean they’re doing anything wrong. Nothing’s stopping you from creating your own twink and fighting them other than just wanting to coast by without any effort put into gearing yourself for pvp.

VAN WOW had blue ! quests were you turned in marks of honor from various BGs where you received honor, XP and rep. it did not last long and was removed

it lead to insane AFK and Botting. this should be no surprize, because when blizzard added XP to BGs expacs later the problem severely returned

OP of this thread has a hidden agenda, whats the point of separation like in BFA, if BGs in Van WOW themselves gave no XP (AV had very minor XP). also players are abusing the current system in BFA to farm new players and levelers in WOW, reaping in huge rewards by wracking honor, achievements, mounts, titles, toys.

2+ months now, no action or bans

Classic is like not living in California.
People hate living there due to taxes, crime, ect.
So they move… then vote to enact the same crap that ruined California.
