Please Disable Twinking or allow people to queue for NON-twink bg's

So being awake at 3AM is a “skill”?
BRB, updating my resume.

Do you have more respect for, say, the New England Patriots for playing, and losing to, the Philadelphia Eagles than you would if they played, and beat, your local high school team?

I have nothing but respect for those that twink to fight other twinks, especially thise that choose to fight only other twinks.

Those that twink with the intent to steamroll lesser geared players, however, do not deserve any respect, IMO.

lmfao, I am not actually anti twink, I am anti their arguments that they are somehow “skilled” and are not relying on high level gear fed to them by high level alts.

I will likely follow suit with an alt for the fun of it. But I would be embarrassed to attempt to say being a twink equates to being a better “more skilled” player, or that twinking is “hard”.

You’ve described skill based seal clubbing, not gear based twinking. Gear based twinking would be more like if they deflated footballs to win.

If they won’t strip down to undies and unenchanted weapons when you trash talk them just to prove you wrong, you know they’re bad.

I can’t speak for all twinks but I’m just down to fight. Since it’s a fight. They makes it competitive. Since it’s competitive im going to get better gear, try different talents, gear set ups, tweak my stats, find that sweet spot, and hopefully not get completely steamrolled in whatever bracket I choose. Including the 60 bracket.
Adjust. Adapt. Overcome. But don’t cry.

The older I get the more it seems that way to me. Lol.

This was a thing in UO with mages.(which took a lot of skill) Only casting ring and bracelet. Sometimes weps and jewelry because most were tank mages. I’m down. Let’s setup a classic community for naked dueling!

I guess what we need to do is look at this from another perspective so to speak. No not the twinks PoV but the “why does one want to play in a particular bracket?” You don’t lvl while playing battle grounds in vanilla. so i guess we can ask is what is the incentive to stay there, at the lvl 19, 29, 39 etc. Plus i believe each lvl bracket you can’t go past a particular rank. If i remember correctly you capped out at rank 3 at lvl 19…maybe rank 2.

Gearing up isnt “hard” at any level. Its all just time investment

Player -A- makes a choice when faced with the game. The choice is to spend time and get gear and tasty treats. Then another choice to take that twinked out time investment and frolic happily in w/e PvP bracket they’ve chosen.

Player -B- has the same opportunity to play the same way, to make the same choices. It’s equality at its finest. But player -B- does not. Player -B- chooses to go into the bg @ lvl 10, in greys and is perplexed when he/she is wtf pwned. Player B then calls for change on the grounds of fairness, accessibility, balance, compassion etc.

Player B will cry for change rather than better their character…will cry foul rather than put in the time. Player B will do this at 60 as well. Player B will not enjoy vanilla PvP very much.

And that’s just fine.

this works on many levels-
individual or whole nation

Sorry, but I have no idea how this relates to what I said. Or are you saying that the point of heirlooms is to steamroll lesser geared players?

There will be changes so you’re better off being adaptable rather than hard nosed about the subject. You’ll be happier in the long run.

Why? If they “change” something stupid, I’ll simply quit. I have no interest in being adaptable. We wanted to play OG WoW. The people that should be adaptable are the ones that don’t want to, yet do anyway and then complain about it.

I would not surprised that once Battlegrounds are released for Classic, they will reward static experience like current WOW.
With experience being added this will allow opportunity to separate “Twinks” from instanced PVP.
These are the quality of life changes that this gaming generation would really love IMO.

No changes. Blizzard have been very open about this.
