Exarch Hellscream… it’s almost like hearing someone be called “Comrade _______”

So painful.

He is an undead like Calia then?

I worry that blizzard will do something dumb like make the AU light-zealots “good”, somehow.

Probably… or more…

What are you talking about, they are good. It was the Mag’har who were evil. Yrel’s Lightbound offered them a chance to join the Light and they spit on the opportunity.

Good like a space marine, yeah.

So the ultimate good? Glad to see we’re all in agreement, I’ll get that red carpet ready for their arrival.

“We come to save you from your savagery!”

Mhmm.

I think I’m tired of hearing the same characters recycled in the story.

Still a shame what they did with Garrosh. He could have been the badass leader the Horde needed ( and STILL do imo ) instead they turned him into a run of the mill corrupted villain.

There really aren’t many good (as in well-done) villains in this game.

Gul’dan may be among the best, and he’s pretty much a moustache-twirling caricature. I mean, he likes it, so good for him, I guess.

Garrosh being a crusader of the light would give me a literal :tent:

I will say that this would be nice for the xpac where they introduce voidknights.

In order to be made good, they would first have to have been evil.

They brought peace to Draenor, and the orcs couldn’t handle it. Then they responded violently when a cure to their constant need to be killing things was offered.

The Mag’har are the ones who decided senseless murder was part of their culture and they wouldn’t give it up.

I hope not. Atleast commit to the idea of having a Light Serving Tyrannical Crusade.

But they did give it up. After WoD they toned that stuff way down.

They killed Goregrond.

An entire zone, scoured of life.

Do we know for a fact that they did it? Didn’t they say that the planet was dying or something?

They didn’t have any weapons of war or machinary, did they? I pretty sure I remember them just being a village at that point.

Yes. Yrel explicitly says the Orcs are killing the planet.

After a long a gruesome war that they where loosing. You don’t get to see the forces they have when Yrel decided purifying them was the only option.
