She said that they are killing the planet, but was there any evidence of it?
I have a feeling that we are going to be fighting them after Shadowlands.

Grom also said that it was the Light that was killing the world.
Gorgrond, scoured of life.
Just because they live there doesnât mean that they did it. They said that the planet was dying, not that they were sacrificing the planet.
I think that is up to debate. Right now we know that The maghar went up and slayed the creatures keeping the vegitation and other animals to live, which caused the world to start dieing. We also know through the maghar story that yrelâs lightbound are pretty much zealots when the horde player runs into them.
Well, according to the Bronzeflight, in every other timeline bar ours Garrosh was a badass leader who led the Horde to greatness like he always wanted. Our Garrosh on the other hand was the absolute worst one and was apparently dropped on his head as a child a lot by Grom.
If there were to be Lightbound Orcs, this is how it should be done.
The light tries to subjugate Garrosh but then Garrosh busts out a reversal move and wrestles the light to the ground and absorbs it. He then teaches other Orcs to wrestle and consume Lightbound creatures to grow in strength. They then wrestle Naaru until the Naaru become their mounts. And thus I present: Lightbound Orcs.
Of the two groups, Orcs are the ones with a history of killing everything unfortunate enough to be near them.
The Light on the other hand does not have a long history of senseless death.
So what should I believe? The Light is suddenly doing the exact opposite of everything itâs known to do in the past, or Orcs did orc things and blamed the consequences on someone else?
Occamâs razor tells me to believe the latter.
I thought AU Draenor was dying because it was a temporal paradox that was never supposed to exist?
Ok, also, going back to this, the orcs managed to live on Draenor without killing or exploding the entire planet right up until the point demons were involved, so Iâm not buying it. Iâm not saying that it was the light/Draenei either, see previous post.
In the past Orcs had a nearly inexhaustible supply of things to kill.
With the planet brought to order by the Draenei, the number of things to murder has gone down, and they had to resort to over-hunting to sate their bloodlust.
lore wise before the demons gotten involved they warred among each other constantly.
and warred with the ogreâs
âWarring between each other constantlyâ to âdestroying the planet in a 30 year timeframeâ is a huge leap, tbh. The people of Azeroth warred between each other constantly but havenât somehow sucked all the life from the planet.
Right? That would be a pretty nice way for the story to go. I mean, supposedly there are void users all over the place that help, and those human-firsters at the Scarlet Monastery seemed to be tossing light spells around all the time.
I mean itâs true, after the demons interfered or in case WoD all the clans united under one banner. What did you think they are gonna do? stand there and tweedle their thumbs? lol
They didnât destroy the entire planet. They destroyed Gorgrond and would have destroyed the rest of the planet had the Yrel not stepped in.
We should totes take everything the purginators take at face value, mid-purge.
The Draenei are uninvited and unwanted guests to Draenor. They chose to remain on an inhabited planet despite knowing that their presnece invites inevitable burning legion raids.
They chose to stay on Draenor, and then decided that breaking everyoneâs free will and turning the planet into a lifeless barren rock was the way to go.
Theyâve always been selfish zealots who donât care about others, the lightforging/binding process just makes it moreso.
Maybe thatâs where all that light energy came from.
To be fair, the Botani and Genesaurs were pretty heavy handed in their seeding.
