Not saying anything wrong with taking 6 months anyway, if thats what he chose to do. We rushed to 60, to rush BIS, to get HWL, which I never did sadly.
Its also the reason I have 3 60s. I spell cleaved to 60 on my first toon. I wanted to re level slowly questing on off time, and did that. If he did normal leveling on his main, no shade from me, I cheesed it.
Nothing wrong with you taking 5 months to get to your ilvl, it must be a struggle finding raiders on Moonguard, and find the time to raid Goldshire inn likely eats all your time, its understandable I like me some Dranei women too.
On Horde there is a struggle not on moon guard alliance lol, how do you think I was able to get to 471 next youâll be saying me being 475 next week is bad
You still wonât provide any proof you do have said character though
Great post. Itâs disappointing that Blizzard isnât paying attention to this issue that is affecting the biggest portion of its paid subcribers. It is also disappointing that this thread it trying to be hijacked by players with superiority complexes who want to remain having a power advantage over others that are their same level like the one above me. Hopefully, Blizzard eventually fixes this issue and allows things in BFA to more fall align with their goals of making Shadowlands more alt friendly.
That 40% had a set up path and experienced vanilla wow and knew what to expect. For a new player to vanilla/classic, I was beyond lost and had to get a quest addon to find leveled quests to do anything. It does take longer then 2 weeks to get to 60 if your not a vanilla veteran and are used to retail wow.
For the record, Jokerdtv didnât hit 60 first due to using phasing to cheat and spawn new mobs instantly.
I didnt quest much on my first toon, thats what I am saying, we quested to like 15, then Spell Cleave Dungeons all the way to 60. It was grindy, it was boring, but it was fast.
You just spam run the same dungeons with a Lock, Healer, and Mages, Lock uses Pet to tank and the Mages just freeze and blizzard the mobs down, you wipe the efficient rooms, leave and go back in and do it again.
AFAIK, no one did that in Vanilla, that was a Classic thing, and it was a Classic thing as it was a Private Server thing. The Private server people are use to Rerolling so they learned stuff like that, and taught everyone else.
There is also a similar way for Melee that was the Melee cleave. I didnt do that, as I only played casters in Classic.
I have a Lock and Mage on Herod, and a Priest on Kromcrush, and this priest on Herod that I never played.
Exactly. I did 13 Visions on two characters once each per week. I just want to do 13 Visions on my next two characters quickly. Iâm still doing the same effort just in a lower number of weeks.
Iâve already ridden this horse twice, I donât want to do it 2+ more times. The cap system is stupid.
I can tell you right now, nobody gives a crap if you have +60 instead of +90 corruption resistance unless you are trying to jump right into progression mythic raiding.
That one extra tier of Infinite Stars is not going to be the dealbreaker.
Iâm a hunter on classic so no spell cleave spamming for me x.x Iâm SOL for getting into groups cause thereâs some kind of anti-hunter campaign since the start, were a meme. Even thought I got broken tooth for best dps. And my server ended up being horde majority.
People definitely do care and theyâre going to care even more as time passes. Given 2 players with the same level of gear, youâre always going to pick the one with the better corruption situation. The one with the better corruption may even be the one to choose with lower item level.
People want to win/outperform their peers with gear advantage instead of playing their spec better. Thatâs the only reason someone would be bitter about an alt or returning player that can catch up quickly.
I dont understand the issue.
This is a MMORPG.
A genre that requires invested time(13 weeks isnt even alot)
Yet i see so many people who want to grind +89resistance in one day.
Why dont u just go play Diablo3? I feel like thats the ARPG pacing that youre looking for.
Couldnt agree more . there is no way any of my 40 odd alts should be able to quickly get to my mains level of power unless I spend the same time on them as I do on him .
Same goes for new players or people who took breaks .
man this thread took a such egocentric turn itâs kinda disgustingâŚ
the same suspects baiting to get reactions⌠use the mute feature if you donât want to read them anymore
the system is complete trash, the catch up isnt really a catch up⌠no matter how you want to paint it and it will never make sense that rank 8 to 11 takes longer than 12-15.
The reason is it goes against the whole premise of the genre , its why I play the game. Want a game you can quickly gear character without much effortâthen dont play a RPG , especially a MMO one .
I am quite sick of the " I want it all , I want it now crowd" trying to pressure Blizz into changing what the game is all about
My problem isnât even the catch up itself, but how punishing the whole Visions system is to people just starting it at rank 1.
Some classes have it extremely hard trying to solo, and good luck finding a party that wants to run stuff with a rank 1. Takes forever to find similar people.
One solution to this would be simply not requiring a Vessel to enter and instead , we had a daily or weekly cap on mementos.
God forbid you have some weekly maintainence to do while we wait for ShadowLands.
Would be so much better if you could just grind +89 resistance in 1day and then unsubscribe amirite?/sarcasm.
