Please delay Dragonflight

Due to contractual obligations, they pretty much can’t without consequence.

Shame, since I agree that it needs a delay.

I don’t care for Season 4 and I especially don’t care about classic.

Bring on DF in whatever state it’s in.

Thanks.

Its coming out before 2023.
And they are further along than we see.
Dont expect a perfect release. Its always been this way so youll get an ok product that gets fixed by 10.3 lol

Talents etc is a big overhaul so unfortunately issues will persist. DF is gonna be another one where they did big changes so that 11.0 will be smoother and streamlined but they have alot less to bog them down.

Ew classic and season 4 btw lol

Ah yeah, I remember that cope with WC3R, and WoD, and BFA, and Shadowlands, and that Blizzard had all the fixes for Legion launch ready to go for problems identified in beta that took them over the course of the expansion to fix. Only took them until 7.3.5 to add the legendary fix everyone told them would need to be a thing for release, only to launch 8.0 without a similar vendor for Azerite pieces until 8.1.

Not going to lie though, was pretty hysterical to watch WC3R launch in the state it did after apologists screamed we only had an older version and the release one with all the fixes will be much more stable. Only for the game to randomly drop a player in a professional match AT BLIZZCON twice and screw him out of a victory to win a series because the other guy over the other two games that were voided figured out his strategy then stole the win when he was moments away from losing the other two games before the DCs happened. . . on a LAN server.

It’s not ‘‘cope’’. It is merely stating that the content to expect at launch is mostly getting close to done. I’m not here to debate quality issues, mishandlings, or outliers that fueled expansions and products people were unhappy with.

Two separate topics.

LMAO to think that Dragonflight will be anything like Legion or Battle for Azeroth or shadowlands you’re sadly mistaken due to the fact Dragonflight doesn’t have all of those expansion-level systems that were in those three expansions. And so without those they have time to iterate and listen to feedback and be proactive on feedback and we already have visual communication happening on the beta forum for Dragonflight.

It’s going to be a fun mess at the start and slowly turn into a disaster. I’m excited

I honestly think it’s one of those “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situations.

Personally maybe a 31st Dec 2022 release be the best situation if they are determined to have it released this year, maximise as much time as possible to polish and tune everything as much as they can so it’s just minor fixes throughout the launch then drastic issues…

If they delay it, while would be maybe the wisest decision to get everything 100% before officially launching, people I already can tell be up in arms.

Blizzard is literally stuck between a rock in a hard place, while in beta you can clearly see a lot of work needs to be done but who knows, maybe they can pull it off, I hope they can, I’m getting the feeling Dragonflight may be the straw that breaks the camels back for a lot of players.

Didn’t they also recently get that new studio with 100 employees exclusively working on WoW?, so they may have the workers now to do wonders in a short amount of time.

Miracles could happen in just 3 months with the right team, but some of those class talent trees are in dire need of fixing, and personally I can’t wait for raid testing to see how Evokers (Preservation/Healing) handle a 25 yard range when mechanics demand raids to spread.
