Priest already have loads of buttons it’s best for blizzard to drop active abilities and put more passives.
That’s what I used to think but there has to be a reason for it if gaming companies keep pulling the same move.
Having loads of buttons was their goal? Who knew?
I think they’re so delusional they think the situation will turn itself around if they keep doing what their hearts tell them is right.
Guardian druids since I don’t tank whatever they got I wouldn’t even care. But in my eyes they are not deaf and I bet they are mapping and planning things out and gathering feedback and agree to some and make compromises on some.
Guess what having loads of button wouldn’t benefit anyone.
It certainly won’t help you, seeing as you think “loads of buttons” ought to be the primary design criteria against which success of an expansion is measured.
Oh so you think that having more buttons equals to success to a expansion. Huh?
players asked for more options and fluid game play. one or two to make the class/specks feel better. blizzard if they like 2 then they will love 12. button bloat and waiting for more cooldowns feels terrible. Just My OP
It’s better to keep things safe than to take more risk and forcing them to ask this serious question “is it worth it in the end?”
Apparently you judge the success of talent trees only on how many buttons there are and do not think the functionality of the system should be a consideration. I’m just going to assume you are too simple to understand how the game works.
And yet you think you are a game developer huh? And yet you think you know better than the game developers themselves. Atleast I am being thoughtful about every decision they make. Unlike you being so negative when you see them shooting down any risky decisions that they may regret later down the line.
I tried playing some of the beta leveling last night, but it’s still in a very rough spot. Very limited voice work, missing every cutscene, etc. The usual beta testing stuff.
But holy hell, the intro questline is so generic and boring. There’s not a single bit of creativity at all in it. Same old kill some stuff, click some stuff, collect some stuff, and none of it is dressed up with any reasonably decent quest writing or storytelling.
Never felt this ‘eh’ on a WoW expansion before.
Ironically the next zone over really spices things up…literally.
Good to know!
I’m really adverse to playing the beta because I don’t want to spoil the questing. I feel the sorta scuffed testing state kinda sours the actual expansion release, especially running through the quests a second time.
Knowing it gets better is good though!
I also don’t really wanna spoil the story, so I’ve only really quested into the plains about 1/4th of the way, but they do give a LOT of exposition in just that 1/4th of a zone; like history of the centaurs, what they eat and how, their traditions, etc.
Space Ghost to Coast, posted a roast, does the most boast, and had some toast in his trading post. /j
But in seriousness, yes, i do agree they should delay to fix things and make them better.
Dragonflight is not ready and may not be ready for the launch they intend for this year.
OP you’re probably right but like there’s a level of desperation right now. Even with the bugs it’s leagues better than the chaotic nightmare that is Shadowlands.
Based on prepatch and beta information this expansion is not ready at all.
dont need to delay if no release date. on or before december 31st 2022. they legally have to have it out on or before that date but they can release it december 27th
