Fun spec, just needs a bit more dps
This spec is rarely S tier in arena, show it some love for once. It’s the hardest hunter spec, I think it will trigger a lot less people if survival is good instead of BM 
Fix deathblow proc rate and make the bleed from kill shot (pack leader) do double its current damage.
This was hotfixed last night.
Finally I can in good conscience queue rated as survival and not feel like an idiot doing it with bugs that hinder damage lol.
Survival in no way needs damage buffs lmao.
Actually getting deathblow procs should help it a lot

I legitmately think SV could be good veryyyy good and most people wouldn’t care. The design that BM and MM both have these days is what’s tilting.
That said SV doesn’t feel bad to me atm, though I haven’t done a lot yet this season on it.
SV has been low key incredibly powerful for 2+ expansions.
It’s just always been a spec that no one plays regardless. Like Feral, the only way it could become fotm is if it were S++ tier.
Survival is fine. Its just most play MM or BM so you hardly ever seen survival hunters there arent that many survival mains
There’s something to be said about early season spec rep with hunter. You’ve gotta have different weapons and a lot of haste to play sv. You can gear ranged with mastery and a bit of haste and play either bm or marks. You’ll see a lot more people playing sv in solo shuffle once there has been time to gear it as an off spec semi properly.
Not sure why everyone is trying to gaslight me into thinking survival damage is good. Go look at the leaderboards (3s or ss, doesnt matter), and sort it by hunters only. If survival was anywhere as close to as strong as you all pretend it to be, then I think more than 4% of hunters would be playing it. I can swap to BM and do double the damage with half the effort and worse gear. And no, it’s not because im better at BM. I’ve never even played BM before.
Top survival hunter is running 0 haste. Mongoose Bite build is not good currently so haste is not good.

You don’t even play survival hunter so how would you know? I haven’t come across a BM hunter yet that easily out dps’s me in arenas or comes close to killing me.
Don’t speak on something you don’t have any experience in.

You mean all 3 of them? Vs thousands playing BM? This idea that Survival is really good but nobody wants to play it for some unkown reason is beyond delusional

MM and now BM have just been dumb all season. Very few people care more about playing their ‘favorite spec’ over getting easier rating. I don’t think that automatically makes SV bad. It may even be bad I don’t know, just the logic of basing your opinion on that isn’t sound.
Unless we’re speaking of terms of what’s good/bad in contrast to what’s most broken, in which case practically everything sucks at any given time minus like 5 specs.

They’re not gaslighting you, that’s not what that word means, and they’re right. Survival damage is nutty; it’s just not as safe as BM and the biggest contributing factor to a spec’s strength rn is how well it can survive.

My survival is only 2k rn in solo shuffle, but the fact that you even try to call me out shows that you’ve completely missed my point. The only thing that is relevant here is what the leaderboards say - your anecdotal opinion doesn’t count nor does mine.
These forums are just sad, the same thing happens on here every time someone tries to point out when a spec is clearly underperforming - you always get the 1400 geniuses crawling out of the woodwork trying to gaslight you into thinking the spec is fine because they saw one person on that spec outplay them in their 1400 lobby.
No wonder Blizzard completely ignores the forums nowadays.
