I was pointing out the irony of you hiding your own rated history to escape any form of judgement over it, while harassing someone else about theirs. I can sympathize with these forums being overly judgmental, so I don’t care how many classic toons you post on–just why would you actively avoid something while doing it to someone else?
The difference being if 90% of the specs are performing relatively equal, with a few that are over performing, you don’t help the balance of power by adding one more offender, you curb what’s offending.
Or maybe SV is garbage, you’re an insane SV player trying to make a hopeless spec work, and SV needs a 400% across the board buff-- I have no clue. I said that MM and now BM have been complained about all season as being OP, and people will swap their main class/spec in a heartbeat for 3% extra power if they think they can climb easier on it. Not to mention both MM and BM are easier to play than SV, so people have every excuse in the world to play them over SV right now, whether that means SV is A tier, or F tier.
I was calling to question the logic of ‘well everyone is playing these 2 specs so SV needs buffed’ versus how SV looks compared to everything that’s considered ‘okay-good.’ Not stating whether I do/don’t think SV needs buffed.

No idea what you’re talking about, I never called out anyone specifically. I just said anyone trying to say SV is good is probably 1400, because I intuitively know that no decent player would be trying to convince me that SV is good right now. You’re just resorting to an ad hominem argument because you haven’t got any good points.
I’m posting on this toon because the name is cool. On retail I currently have 8 max level toons. I’m not going to change my forum character every time I post about a different class so you can look me up, find something more productive to do with your time.
SV is one of the weakest specs, even if you compare it to non-hunter specs. You’re just arguing for the sake of it and obviously haven’t looked at any stats. Yawn.
I’m not, though. I’m arguing that SV being the worst Hunter spec doesn’t automatically mean it requires buffs. Had you given more supporting reason for your opinion than ‘everyone is playing MM/BM’ I may have been inclined to agree with you.
There’s significant data not being examined if we don’t compare SV to everything else, which I think is a reasonable way to determine if something could use buffs.
This is what I’m talking about, this is a much better spring board to base an argument off of.
I was using you being on a classic toon and saying everyone is 1400 in a bunch of replies to determine that your attitude wasn’t very nice, and found doing so from a classic toon ironic.
I believe you’re missing the point. I have no interest in looking you up. I was remarking on your actions, not your video game abilities.

It only became relevant because you kept throwing around a rating that you felt should have no say in game balance so I wondered why you were not on a toon that someone could also examine since you wanted to call rating into question.
But that’s a total side point anyway, I don’t care if SV gets buffed by 40,000% or gets deleted from the game, I was just discussing the manner in which you chose to determine needing buffs. No harm intended, if SV needs buffs I hope they get them.

Survivals damage is good it’s just more work than being bm and being ranged completely.

This. My damage feels fine but BM just offers more with less. That’s the bigger issue from my perspective.

You hardly see any survival because the spec is weak af and not rewarding considering its actually a hard spec compared to bm/mm
