I know this is an old game, I knew what I was getting into when I chose the class I did. I knew exactly how all of this was going to play out through every phase of PvE and every arena season because we had a decade of theorycrafting and private servers.
Still, now that we’re here, I find I am performing exactly as expected and that frustrates me. My class should be #1, and it frustrates me that I can’t excel at every aspect of the game better than other classes.
I know many of you just wanted to play your favorite expansion again and are enjoying WotLK, but I simply can’t enjoy this game unless I am outperforming everyone else. Please change the game so many love so that I can have my way.
I think a flat 20% damage buff and letting me cast heals in shadow form would be acceptable. Thanks!
I dislike that people can cast spell when I am trying to kill them, can my auto attacks have a 50% chance to interupt? If I swing a sword at you, it makes sense atleast 1 out of 3 strikes would make you shut up.
This so much. Everyone is so worried about their fragile ego and has to be on top for everything. There is always someone better so relax and enjoy your time.
I don’t completely disagree, I do think people get too caught up with dps and logs, but it does add a bit of competition, and it’s fun to try and improve where you can. If you’re not monitoring your dps at all what is the fun of playing a dps class in raids?
I used to compete in raids. If you’re actually competing, it’s cool. Sometimes I’ll install Recount just to see how I’m doing, but I rarely keep it for long, as I really only play to have fun these days.
