Please Buff Enhancement

It’s a joke of a melee spec in pvp…

It’s practically a free kill in 90% of the games with horrible survivability, decent damage, and good utility.

Increase their mana regen, revert the healing surge nerf for Enhancement only, and that’ll fix 90% of their problems.

Their utility is the only thing carrying them, damage is mediocre outside of Ascendance, but their survivability is completely out the window.

Oh yeah it’s definitely good in 3’s when it has the extra support. But otherwise it’s completely dog on its own.

Bring back Shamanistic Rage, Bring back Wolve’s self healing.

I’d love to see buffs to other builds. Asssendance is really strong but its cd is just too long for me compared to other melee bursts.

It would be nice if it had some utility that made it desireable in more than one comp lol…

Naw, nerf heals more but DRASTICALLY increase mana Regen. It would actually act as a small nerf to the offheals (more Global’s) but would be a decent buff to our utility.

Nothing feels worse than not being able to press half your buttons because you’re oom. Or not being able to take a talent even into teams with no dispel because it costs 1000 mana.

Other than that, we need a new PvP talent. The last round was way more interesting for ele/resto when enhance had the lame ones to start.

I would 100% take another nerf to off heals if it meant increased mana regen and better defense. Shamanistic rage or at the very least the ability to use astral shift while stunned.

Buff enhance and elemental both need more beef in their survivability kits.

Enhance shamans need their healing nerfed, they do not need a buff at all.

Sorry but hybrid heals don’t need buffs

Take Mage healing, Hunter Craven, Warrior Healing out of game before categorizing all hybrids into being in the same category.

Do you even play the game? Feral healing is out of this world a million times better then hard casted healing surges for ele shams.

Enhance isn’t as bad as everyone seems to think, but it’s definitely not as good as WW, feral, or ret (at least in meleecleavezugfest).

Enhance needs:

  • Mana regen fixes, the nerfs are too much
  • Defensive buffs, either by letting them have strong SELF heals on some form of cooldown, or bring back defensives usable while stunned

The bigger issue with enhance healing is you never use maelstrom for lightning bolt or chain lightning. Why would you? They hit like wet noodles. At least ret has to use holy power for final verdict.

It’s a weird design that exemplified the healing issue, which is all that props up enhance cause it’s made of tissue paper.

would like to see them half the cost on lust and or remove the cost on windfury totem though

they never actually went through with the 9.1 mana nerfs so i’m not sure what nerfs you’re saying were too much

instead they nerfed healing surge by 20% which was a good change and is ultimately unnoticeable with the addition of the third potency slot

historically when we couldn’t heal for 30k instantly having access to shamanistic rage made a little more sense
but right now it would just be way too much imo and a significant skill cap reduction
game doesn’t need more skillcap reduction

IF enhancement were to get any defensive aimed changes rn
imo good options would be glyph of lightning shield returning
(proccing lightning shield gave you a 10% wall for 6 seconds)

nothing feels worse than just dying to ret/warrior non cd damage and having to run 90% of the game when they are just 123ing
but windows that you’d trade wall don’t feel bad and don’t need to feel better

i also would REALLY like to see feral lunge be baseline with access to earth grab totem in it’s place
REALLY missing root atm

idk i wouldn’t mind seeing shocks/LL/LB/crash feel a little more impactful numerically
but atm lightning bolt hits like 4k? non crit
it’s impactful when you can afford the maelstrom
