Please Bring Back First Aid

First aid should still exist within tailoring, but it should be used to make advanced bandages using existing bandages from first aid.

Kind of like enchanted bandages. Or maybe you can do that with enchanting? I’m just thinking that bandaging could remove poisons. Diseases. Give Mana back

Not really. That’s not what a tailor actually does. They don’t have knowledge of disinfectants or anatomy. Not only that, but it’s less efficient because it forces you to take up Tailoring to make your own bandages instead of anyone being able to do it if they choose. The entire concept was better in Classic. First Aid should definitely be it’s own profession and expanded upon.

One major thing they got wrong back in the day was giving bandages a set number for healing instead of making them percentage based. They also didn’t expand the field to make it more interesting. So it’s definitely better to be its own profession instead of cluttering up Tailor with unrelated crap. What I’ve suggest here is a progression based system that can fit into all future expansions with every new type of cloth and reagent that comes out.

I read the OP and all comments after. Don’t make assumptions. Bandages are not great, they aren’t going to make them great, and everyone seem to reminisce about them as if they were amazing. It’s like all the weirdos who think classic WoW is amazing, they are just remembering good times had and forgetting all the quality of life improvements the game has now that it didn’t then.

If you actually read it, then you would have known about the improvements I added to make it more useful and more interesting - thus making your comment redundant. That aside, there’s nothing weird about liking Classic. What kind of Tim Walz comment is that? Classic is objectively better in many ways, especially its organization of class roles and creating a world that we actually interact with. Since then it’s been dumbed down instance/BG slog that leaves many players numb.

As I stated in multiple comments, the self heals need to go, along with all the class bloating. A perfect example is Marksman Hunter having self heals, invisibility, invulnerability, and crowd control on top of their insane firepower. “That’s not how classes work!” It’s like they’re taking some sort of equity approach to class design, making them bits and pieces of everything. All that has to go.

I remember doing first aid as a necessity in raids. To help the healers. I totally forgot that’s gone. What a shame.

I can see you are triggered and I can see that I’m apparently not allowed to address the topic as a whole (or other people’s comments because apparently only YOU are important) so I guess continue crying about it. Guess what buddy? You aren’t getting bandages and getting rid of self heals is literally THE DUMBEST idea I have EVER heard. And I’ve heard a lot of stupid things on these forums. GL and try crying like a baby less. I won’t be responding because I don’t have time for the chronically triggered. That’s a personal problem you will have to deal with.

ROFL! I think you just made it pretty clear who’s triggered here  What kind of childish rant was that? You got caught not reading the post, you only read the title, just own it instead of putting on this silly act.

There’s nothing dumb about it, the classes are completely bloated and a complete mess. Anyone who’s been in a BG knows that. Some classes and specs can have self heals or crowd control, but it should come with a price. Name one reason why class balance is a “DUMB” idea?
