for that idk what could be done. the community expects results from a company who dishes out half - axed attempts.
and your sjw solution is bend over to the enemy?
the lord inquisitor wants to know your location
Yes, yes it would lol. Have you seen the bugs that have been happening in tbc? If they just tried to whip up a faction transfer that would take an immense amount of work, not even mentioning that they would be doing it for free so we all know how that’s going to work.
Plus we all know this would cause a ton of rage among the community as well. Because in order to do this you also have to lock transfers off of that server otherwise horde will be swarming the free transfer servers in order to get their faction changes if they want them. Then people will be yelling and screaming on here to offer THEM a faction transfer because other people got it but they didn’t.
Yes, this would quite literally break so much stuff in the game it’s not even funny. Plus you would have to turn it off if people started transferring too much on certain servers so then you’ll be stuck with some people having lost their group and guilds because they didn’t hit the transfer button in time.
The only logical solution, is for these players to reroll. Plain and freaking simple. They dug their grave, they can dig out of it.
Yeah guys the solution is really simple how can you guys not see? Create a FREE service to help the people out who actively ruined their own experience by flooding one faction for pvp.
Let’s just make the faction transfer that is
- Limited by server
- Lock down that server so no one can transfer to it to get a faction change and kill off other servers like the free server xfer did
- Limit it to a certain faction only.
- Write the code to swap over all faction specific reputations, items, mounts, spells, etc
- Make an emergency shut off on these transfers so it doesn’t swing too far to one side
- Also make it so it FORCES a full character page transfer on pvp only servers or take out the one faction per server rule that is in tbc
Yeah guys it’s so easy the answer is right there I’m sure there won’t be any bugs, I’m sure this won’t take a ton of time to develop and it’s all for free so I’m sure blizzard will be happy to do it.
I swear to god some people choose not to live in reality.
This.
Satisfaction from everyone is the achievable goal we want to have.
Simple way to satisfy both parties. Have a premade only que and a non premade que. Even fights for the premades and even fights for the non premades.
Woah, but that would defy the purpose of queuing to have an unfair advantage!
That what happens when you have faction imbalance to the degree we currently have. There aren’t enough alliance around for you to have a reasonable shot at facing pugs. There’s probably just as many horde premades, the issue is horde pugs outnumber alliance ones probably 10:1
Yes
I mean that’s pretty much what the forums are. “Blizzard needs to fix so and so…” You just don’t want to hear about it for selfish reasons, so this time you call it “whining”… it’s the same thing everyone else does when they disagree, because people on the forums don’t have the ability to communicate normally.
Pog or plebs, take your pick
As always, as soon as the Alliance start winning in BGs the Horde are here in the forums to shut it down.
This same thing happened in Classic, as soon as the win ratio switched in Alliance favor, the forums were flooded with Horde screaming for a nerf or to break something to prevent it.
Welcome to Classic, where the Alliance will never be allowed to win the majority of BGs because the Horde will never allow it.
while I disagree with a large portion of your analysis, I agree that high ratios of premades v pugs creates consistently bad gameplay experiences and chases away players if they can’t find an escape from it
PUG vs PUG BG games are one of the most fun things you can do in this game!
Slamming a bunch forfeiting teams in BGs is fun for about two games, then your kinda half AFK through games.
It’s honestly not much fun on the winning or losing side of this.
Problem is people farming BGs for optimal honor doing cheesy strats like spam capping the flag in EOTS instead of playing the game like you’re supposed to.
Same thing that happened in classic. Happens in retail too with boosting.
WoW community is full of anti-social sweaty spreadsheet nerds that don’t know how to have fun.
Anyone saying “LOL ZUGZUG.ORC NOSHOES NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS”… statistically, more people care about them than don’t simply by virtue of the fact that Horde has higher pops almost across the board on PvP servers.
So YOU are the minority opinion, NOT the majority.
Secondly, lower queue times for Horde doesn’t adversely affect you in ANY way, even if it comes from Mercenary mode so your objections to any potential solutions comes purely from a position of childish, petulant spite and not from any place of reason.
Lastly, enough people endured trash queue times during Classic than a second round of them is liable to make many simply quit. “LOL ZUGZUG.ORC NOSHOES QUIT THEN HAHAHAHHA”… sure that’s gonna be your response…RIGHT up until enough Horde quit that YOU have massive queue times because Horde players simply quit queuing due to the queue never popping.
This is an issue with potentially disastrous long term effects on the entire PvP scene, it’s also one that once the inevitable starts happening its going to create a positively-reinforcing feedback effect where the more people stop queuing, the more even MORE people are gonna stop queuing.
Literally JUST like Classic, where easily 80%of Horde players didn’t continue queuing with any regularity once Naxx was out.
more horde quitting = faster queue times for you! right? how can it be a bad thing? lol.
Except a number of Horde players keep bringing up the fact that there are more Alliance players in total (including the PvE-only players).
Minority doesn’t matter anyway.
Fewer Horde to queue into = longer queues.
This won’t happen.
And our queues were still short.
Pls god no…
have you entered a bg where ally are not premading? It is zero fun. The bots in overwatch practice mode play better.
If you are going to eliminate alliance premades you need to let them have atleast an extra 5 players in most bgs…
this is the most useless input I have ever seen on the problem
premades need to go away its a problem and the vitriolic attitude from alliance players does nothing but a disservice to justify why they should stay.
Sure break the only thing horde can’t win against!
