Please Blizzard. Either ban premades or have them face each other

What makes you think solo players dont have to work hard to gain their rewards? The point of going to a premade is to make it easier. Use your head

I’m not. I am saying that, based on his analogy, the ‘professionals’ would be the only ones to be rewarded at the height of things, and by comparing solo players to pickup players he is saying they shouldn’t be payed like the professionals with that sweet sweet Ranking.

oh its competitive. your choice to not be in a premade is part of why you lose.

And yet World of Warcraft, with few exceptions, is not the NBA.

Professional basketball players are paid money to perform their craft.

All of World of Warcraft is akin to the Pickup league game, because it’s a commercial entertainment product that people pay to play.

In this analogy, the “NBA league players” have entirely lost perspective on what the purpose of the game is, which is why they’re willing to go to such extraordinary lengths to corrupt the meta, until the game has been min/maxed into oblivion.

As a result, a single player queuing for AB or WSG perceives that the game is embarrassingly broken.

Your insistence on an increased reward for playing a fair match (against a fair team) reinforces my conviction in this.

  • Premade vs. Premade = fair game.
  • Pug vs. Pug = fair game.
  • Pug vs. Premade = unfair game.

Unfair games are what you’re after on the surface level. Higher honor yield is your only concern underneath; and the quality of the gameplay you experience is of no consequence which is why I deem your argumentative position invalid.

Given the premises:

  • What we’re talking about is a game, meant to be played for the purposes of entertainment
  • Poor quality gameplay is less efficient at providing entertainment than a higher quality gameplay.
  • Insurmountably unfair situations frustrate the player, and provide a poor quality gameplay experience

Our conclusion must be:

Separating Premade and Matchmade Battleground queues increases the quality of the game.

The action we should take:

Separate Premade and Matchmade Battleground queues.

I never said, nor insinuated that I want the ‘unfair’ matchup. Im commenting on how op’s initial analogy doesnt work with his second statement only.

I’m fine with pugs facing pugs and vice versa. But sure, nice post arguing a point I never made.

Wait. I do both premades/pugs.
If premades outnumber pugs, why do I ALWAYS go up against pugs when im premading. I was premading earlier this week, I played atleast 20 games with them before going to bed…we did not play 1 premade. And this was evening time.
YET, when I pug, its almost always against a premade. Earlier today I went up against like 30 premade straight. Never in my WoW playing experience (since 2005) have I ever ran into that much premades one after the other.

Something is off there. I know premade vs premade happens, but I feel like it it doesn’t happen as much as some players claim it actually does.

it is fair because you can choose to premade. You choose not to play a premade. fair,…

My horde friend here is correct. I ranked to 11 in vanilla and it was EXACTLY like this. Premade WSG 24/7. PuG stomp or be PuG stomped.

If you are not having a fun time in BGs, try open world PvP! You may be having a rough time because people are coordinating amongst themselves to win in the objective based game mode. The open world may be for you if you are casual.
