The main reason is to get you to subscribe with more than 1 account. So as long as they can get away with that, it will stay capped at 50. (This is a bs reason, they should just increase it but you know greed).

What you are asking for adds little option for those that want specific names like âLegolasâ for whatever reason, doesnât matter that people donât want to share names if the point is to let people play what they want. Why would i care how many people play Motorz? It doesnât affect me in the slightest.

You could just delete your toon
and restore them when you need them.
Which people do. And they also make 50 characters and use a handful but take up 50 names.
Of course, just like some people start during vanilla and make a couple characters but decide they just want to be a Warlock or whatever forever but donât delete those other couple characters and have their names forever. Donât see why that is a reason to not increase the cap.

Dude iam not a bot i have been asking for this for years go look up my history. when i say i want to pay i feel its the only way iam gonna get this and besides i have a ton of blizz credit. Iam a realist when it comes to blizzard.
Paying money to increase it would make sense, we already have that for character boosts and stuff right?
