You can play whatever you want on classic era - particularly now - ll the sweat daddies who play like it’s a full Time game collect world buffs and stack warriors are playing wrath
My class can raid, idc much about the role it has as long as i can raid with my class. And my guild have paladin tanking and dpsing too, i choose to go holy though simple ebcause healing is pretty damn ez mode for raids for pallies and shams at least.
As i stated wotlk just feels like a worse retail version, which btw, you not only can do everething you mentioned, you can do it better in retail than wotlk provides.
I play ret in classic.
I cant imagine you went full circle and think im refering “worse retai version” to raids exclusively.
i guessed that.
Hell, I’d even take one realm on Classic Era that’s built around the TBC-classic Pre-patch that they did.
Shaman for Alliance, Paladin for Horde, TBC talents/class balance, with vanilla classic content.
Y’know, if full-on TBC realms themselves aren’t popular enough.
I would actually prefer a TBC seasonal where Horde Pallys and Ally Shamans were NOT in I think this was the biggest error in TBC.
Else I’d love to re-visit the TBC zones without the nerf from Wrath.
likely a mix of both. but a real concern nonetheless
You’d think so with the way that the entire Wrath C atmosphere is all about parases > people so you’d think that population would remain there but the common sentiment on the meme spec thread confirms otherwise.
Anyway, I’ve always been fine with a TBC Era server. My only concern is for the next season because I’m looking forward to it but won’t play a TBCC one, I already had my fill of that already for the next many years.
I mean tbc had a certain something players were high quality due to attunements being required. Lots of raids had mechanics where you were on survival mode and the fights seemed more a mechanics than a gear check. A permanent tbc server might need some changes like dual spec, large war quest bonus to keep pvp up, emfh, and boa badges. I believe with the wow token the less populated expansions can be given 1 and only 1 server.
Progression with professions would be my concern. I did my time in TBC, and it wasn’t too bad. Saying this, I do quite a bit of reading up on things, and ran across something about skinning and needing to be lvl 315 to even begin skinning in TBC. Only reason I found this out whether true or not, I was curious about skinning Onyxia after listening to my guildies go on about it.
I wouldn’t mind a progression into TBC off of the current Servers, maybe for those low pop ones? But starting all of the way back over? I am not fond of that.
Aren’t the dungeons and stuff in WotLK from Original, TBC, and then Wrath?
Forgive me, I saw the stupid commercials for Retail, and got suckered back in until I saw this and Wrath. I am not 100% on what all they did with Wrath.
One other thing… Blizzard, please dont go to Cata??? I would like to maybe level up a toon or 3 in Wrath before that happens.
Best of luck. You still have time to level up.
But Blizzard listens to and sold out to the content locusts long ago.
So Cataclysm is probably coming.
Do you then agree to this being a PvE server - if not, ask for 2!
Ideally there should be at least one server up for each expansion that classic progressive has gone through. One that rotates as fresh as well imo.
I’d replay WOTLK for example if they made another fresh, not a TBC fan but I bet some are in the same boat there as well.
I repeat my question to you:
Not sure. Personally I’d prefer PvP but if they only choose 1 server then PvE might be more inclusive. I would want PvP for sure though, that said I say one server because I know blizzard. Both would be ideal but Blizzard might be stingy.
Doubt this will happen but good luck!
Someone, I’m too lazy to find it right now, came with a very good reason for having PvE as the choice if we only had one server. Something about consensual PvP, too many complaints about griefing, and so on - and I totally agree. I for one would never play on a PvP server.
Yea that’s why I said PvE is probably the go to if there is just one server. As it satisfies the most people. Battlegrounds will still exist so there will still be pvp in the game. Some Pve players just wouldn’t play because they don’t like getting randomly attacked.
Exactly. I hate to have my gametime eaten up by long corpseruns Did I mention that I dislike and suck at PvP
aye, even reagents like portal stones and arrows. the rpg is mostly removed from the mmorpg.
