Yea I’m only on forums cuz I bought a long subscription you need one to be on the forums, I’ve been waiting for tbc classic and not playing wow at all
I know you need a sub, I’m here because mine is still running on its last days. Still hoping, still asking …
theres a ptr for wrath classic on the battlenet?
No, open it and you go to Cata.
I want a wrath era and a tbc era server. Youll attract all the people from private servers and those of us who hate cata.
yo lemme just hold one tbc server idc if pvp or pve.
Microsoft: there is free money to be had here. Servers for classic vanilla, TBC and wrath, don’t forget to create PvE, PvP, RP and Hardcore servers for each. The seasonal servers are making you money, but once the season is over retire them. This includes Cataclysm which was the end of “Classic” - in the end now that it has started, leave legacy servers up for it. Money for nothing!
I don’t think that RP-PVP has the appeal that it used to in the game, so could maybe skip that. Super sad to say because those were always my favorites “back in the day”. Could basically say the same for PVE RP.
So what I would do is one PVP/PVE on each coast in each region would be a good starting point for TBC Era.
The Era populations seem to ebb and flow with whatever else is going on with options for playing the game. Would rather have queues for a while than play on dead/connected realms when the game hoppers move on to the next thing.
Should have least one or two for each expack for classic would make since and no one likes cata anyways.
Would love a TBC Era server. I play Classic Era & SoD, but crave TBC again!
we all want tbc or wrath just not this cata stuff Sod Tbc would be fun.
No, we all don’t. You gt to speak for yourself and yourself only.
TBC when
come on blizz
There really doesn’t seem to be that much demand for these one-off, non-progression servers. Look at Classic Era. I don’t see any reason to believe that a time locked TBC or even WotLK server would be any different. I can’t see it having much of a sustainable population outside of the initial hype. Hardcore has all but died out and it perennially fresh. SoD’s just a retail dev’s fever dream. Yeah, I don’t see it. Just another way to further split the Classic base.
You must be playing somewhere I do not. I have no problems finding groups in HC, my kids raid twice a week and we’re still levelling alt and having fun.
Perpetual TBC servers migth need the Soul of Iron buff to really pop, but there’ll always be life there.
So, yes please give us those TBC Era servers.
This is, I think, a faulty argument. More choice is a way to retain players, and I think it’s mentally easier to have people go from TBC Era to Classic Era or even to Cata than have people resubbing.
Also I think most WoW players do not play only one version, they just have a preferred version. I play mainly HC, but when I’m tired or just died or whatever, I play Era. If there were TBC Era servers, I’d sometimes play there, as I like the Draenei zones. If this was the case, I might even try out Cata. Which I won’t as it is now.
The base can split 2 different ways. Those spread out on different versions of the game they enjoy, or the subbed and un-subbed. Without classic era and SOD I doubt I would be subbed to the game right now.
No thank you, unchanged TBC please.
Classic vanilla Era is absolutely booming right now.
Cata has actually been very popular so far.
I heard everyone got filtered in Cata.
