How about it is not fair? It is having characters auto-played using a third party program. If that is not cheating, I don’t know what is.
Because what you have just described is botting and not multi-boxing. Botting is where the game will play on its own after the player loads up a script.
Multi-boxxing just has key cloning, but does require the player to actually play the game. If the player stops playing, the game doesn’t do anything unless they are doing things like auto attack or crafting a lot of things in a single go.
Just like a normal single player doing the same actions.

While I despise multi boxers, especially when they lag Nazjatar out constantly… it does have the easy solution of turning war mode off.
Make nodes completely, 100% unique to the player. Only you see them. No one else. No competition. Just like they did with quest interactions.
With that, make the respawn rate super long. Not a 5-8 minute respawn, like an hour.

Blizzard gave easy mats in Mists…ghost iron ore EVERYWHERE with LOW mat cost crafting. They said they AINT doing that again…and we saw them prove that in WoD and beyond.
SL’s looks a lot better (so far) not relying on soulbound mats (as far as Ive seen), but it still seems to require a LOT of mats compared to mists…ie bliz aint gonna make it easier on you than they want to.

I don’t have any characters with more than a couple of forum posts… not sure why that matters. If the post substance is something to debate, great. Whether it’s my first post or 10,000, irrelevant. You post on a level 20 alt that’s never seen any action other than the forums. So where your lvl 20 with thousands of posts lends some credibility to your posts? Dust a “main” off and polish that silver tongue bro.
If you can farm the mats you need, so what? Is it about an “economy” that’s perceived? What else have you spent your gold on in BfA besides mats? BoE epics?
Assuming you arent an agent of the Dark Lord Whinesalot like so many others…MOST of these jokers post on low count alts trying to hide their identity so they can pad threads.
We busted one last week on no less than EIGHT alts, lol.

Dont expect bliz to hand you mats. They wont. They made that clear in BFA with that blasted Expulsom abomination and all the other crap soulbound mats

Just a dude that plays the game. This thread caught my eye. I’m a boxer. I don’t bot. I don’t farm. I just quest and run my 5-mans. I keep out of the way of folks. If I’m out in the world and going to tag a quest mob, I ensure others are a) not around or b) let them tag before I blow it up with my team. Most boxers are like this. We do it for a challenge. The thought of farming nodes or standing still for hours on end… f-that man.

People are gonna take issue no matter what you try to do. You could be in the middle of nowhere, kill one mob and someone will whine about it.

Yeah, they don’t seem to complain when they want to do a world boss or something hard and my team swoops in and pushes its face in the dirt for them.

That low post count is nearly always a sign we’re about to be trolled, lol…sorry I hopped on it, but theyve made this forum have to be like this with perpetually trolling in here on alts. Cant even have a real discussion about anything boxing related without their incessant, infantile antics.

I honestly dont think the days of easy mat farming is EVER coming back.
This is IONS game now and as long as hes in the upper echelon I dont see it getting better.
SL’s does have some great changes, but when taken as a whole its pretty easy to see it was more about speeding us along to CURRENT content, not really trying to do us many favors…as per usual. But at the end of the day players like myself who love leveling new characters twice a week are going to have a lot more fun.

I know…I try to be benign in the game…but bliz dont want that. They want the competition and theyre forcing this overly boring, labored war theme out till god knows when just because its called World of WARcraft, lol.
I guess they have to cater to all sorts of players to be successful.
I try to do no harm myself, but that attitude is changing quickly with how players are behaving in game anymore
lol someone tried to report my posts about banning Multiboxers and they got restored, even Blizzard knows multiboxers are scrum
