There are people with multiple accounts that come into these threads either defending multiboxing or trolling those who don’t agree with it and liking their own posts with their alts.
I noticed it when I began seeing some of the same people who 1) have the same syntax 2) seem to always show up at the exact same time and 3) often seem to agree with each other and like each other’s posts. Number 3, I pointed out to one of them once and he’s been careful not to heart his alt’s posts.
Someone on another thread was talking about how they took down a multi-boxer and other people were talking about toys that could help in that adventure.
Multi-boxers are not some invincible void lord. Even if people like to think they are.
lol ok. FYI, you can click a checkmark box in-game to make it so that your alts only show the achievements they’ve earned but your collections are still identical.
There was a long article I read not long ago that tried classifying it as “spyware”.
when i see unpopular topics like a pro multiboxing one with like 150 likes just seems kinda fishy to me then it’s like oh yeah these guys have many accounts
wonder what happened there
Assuming that these actions are just alts and they are agreeing with one another.
Might I offer a few things that could also explain why certain things happen?
Seeing the same people post in a topic of interest is not a crazy idea. It would be more odd in my opinion to see those that do have an interest in said topic, not replying or partaking in said topic.
I haven’t noticed any real syntax similarities. Then again, I don’t really pay attention to that and I just read stuff.
Maybe they are using split screen or have two monitors? Have one for gaming and the like and another so they can stay on their favorite site(s).
What is wrong with agreeing with something someone else writes? Especially if it’s something you agree with?
Is it possible that it’s just people agreeing with alts? Sure but that can be about any topic and maybe even more so if they have invested interest in said topic. People are weird.
I notice things like that because it falls into my real life line of work.
There is nothing wrong with agreeing with someone else but when you can tell it’s the same person agreeing with themself, it negates the value of “my comment is right because it has more hearts”. Several threads (not just this subject), i’ve seen people literally having full conversations with their own alts. They forget (as the above example did) that their pet collections are identical. That’s the guaranteed confirmation after you follow your suspicions when you notice little clues.
In celebration of Blizzard releasing Uther and his awesomeness in the Bastion, I have decided to multibox a team of paladins courtesy of this thread and the QQ’ers. Once again I would like to thank Blizzard for allowing me to support WOW on a higher scale.
But the question remains if you’re going to multi-box. With this power, which one will you be doing? Because if you multi-box, you must do at least one of these. It’s an unwritten rule on one of these multi-boxing threads
A. Tank the market
B. Ruin the spirit of the game
C. Dominate PVP
D. Clear game content alone
There might be more, but those are the only ones I can think of.
yeah…funny how they throw words like ethics and morality around when theyre so obviously willing liars who continue to lie even after theyve quite clearly understood the facts involved.
hardly. its always the ones playing like they dindunuffin. These players admit to boxing within the rules. You all claim you arent doing anything. You are FAR more suspect of botting than they are.
hey pal…if you dont want to be corrected the answer is easy…STOP TROLLING this forum withyour endless barrage of anti boxing spam threads/posts.
If you post it…WE WILL COME…and respond…END of discussion.
YOU dont get to spew up your tripe and not be called on it…sorry…life dont work like that.
and I noticed its the same 8 of you, often posting on alts to avoid detection.
Your point is?
