Automation happens with or without your input. You run a script and walk away.

That is very different than having to press a key repeatedly (even if it is getting replicated across multiple clients). If the player walks away, nothing happens on any of the clients.

Super different things.

You can agree or disagree on whether it should be allowed, but it is absolutely not the same as “automating”. So drop that argument.

You made a claim that the software works in a certain way, the burden of proof is on you and you alone to provide evidence of that claim.

ISBoxer is a huge program, I’m not about to go and learn 100% of it for stuff I have no interest in to quell people on the forums when the software has been around for 11 years lol

Also, just because software can do something against the rules doesn’t mean Blizzard is going to outright ban that software. Otherwise they’d have to ban Windows as well.

Looking at this post, that seems to be within the rules to me. What is the rule Blizz tells us? 1 Button 1 action per client right? A lot of my keys don’t do what I pressed, my interact with target key is G12 (4 to the game) but when the game gets it it’s not 4 it’s F5

Because it is not automated, it is an input made by a human controlling the machine.

Normal User - “Okay, well let’s ban the 3rd party software that’s giving a significant advantage to people using it!”
Multiboxer - “NO, DON’T DO THAT! I’LL LOSE MY UNFAIR ADVANTAGE”

The mental gymnastics from multiboxers is unreal. We all know why you support it, we all know why you are exerting the effort to try and derail every single thread about multiboxing. Why would you continue to be dishonest, and not just admit that your support stems from wanting to protect an objectively STRONG advantage?

-I won’t get beat up in warmode anymore
-multiboxers won’t drain all of 1 node before my eyes
-they won’t kill everything before I can tag it for a quest
-Causes massive disruption to the in-game economy
