Most of the anti GDKP legion are people who couldn’t get into raids or guilds proper due to bad logs or just bad gameplay. It’s why they’re all playing vanilla in the first place and think GDKPs are only for RMT. I think I’ve seen GDKPs wipe only a couple of times. It’s nice to have everybody show up knowing the fights and mechanics proper and not needing to stop and explain for every player who doesn’t wanna do their homework

One thing I learned from the decision to not add LFD to Wrath at the beginning is to voice my opinion every time a group advocates for a bad decision.
So far it’s working great for the GDKP ban.

Wrath cratered when GDKP and carries started to become to the norm. When Token and RMT came in, paying to play with GDKP and carries drove huge numbers of players away. the belief that GDKPs are a draw to the game is a fallacy.
