you get 5.9k xp for winning a bg…which can take 20mins to play, where as i can do a quest in half the time for nearly triple the XP… please address this as it’s not a viable way of leveling your alts from 50-60.
last time I checked, and this has been a while, you also get xp from completing pvp objectives within the BG. So the amount of xp is quite inflated over what you’re making it seem, if it’s still the case. Heck, snutz leveled his rogue in a day or two purely doing bgs.
i’ve played around 11 bgs today and won 60 percent maybe, I’ve got not even half the bar done. taken me around 2hrs and not even half a bar…

I just realized you’re level 10. Maybe the xp scaling increases when you get to 50, idk otherwise.

Correct, this was a great advancement for quality games.
Leveling in Battlegrounds is not the thing to do, instead focus on wins for Honor gains. At 60 we can than equip a Full PVP set (with farmed Honor 50-60) from Vendor, which will allow us to progress in any content we desire, PVP - Rated, PVE - M, M+ Raiding.
By not questing/doing the campaign, it will cripple your character.
Tldr.
Battlegrounds are not a viable option for leveling 50-60 in SL, unless combined with quests/campaign. You can also run the risk of over gearing (ilvl) and becoming locked out of Dungeon queues until story progression is made.
