I was just removed from a celestial dungeon because the tank pulled the boss while mobs were still alive. I was doing my job as dps and killing said mobs only to die when he pulled the boss (no i did not pull aggro) and was hit with the dumbest system ever dungeon deserter preventing me from queuing for 30 mins… when i asked the group members why i was kicked no one seemed to know why.
Please add a similar dialog box for kicks making people type in agree to kick someone…
The tank even apologized to me for the kick and offered to tank another run so i could get my daily done after
Step 1: OP makes post about getting kicked for no reason and gets debuff
Step 2: Forum trolls either gaslight or find some way to blame OP
Step 3: Forum thread continues for several days until another thread with the same issue
Step 4: Blizzard does nothing
Step 5: New thread gets made and go back to step 1
So rather than just getting a prompt on your screen asking those who didn’t initiate the vote whether they agree or disagree (I forget the exact verbiage used) to kick whomever, they would instead have to type Agree or Disagree? I’m guessing in the hopes that they won’t just mindlessly click one or the other and instead actually consider whether the “offending” person should actually be kicked or not?
Oh, I don’t think it a bad idea at all. Was just seeking clarification if that is precisely what OP had in mind. Better that you make them think at least long enough to actually type Agree or Disagree rather than just mindlessly click one button or the other.
Perhaps no one said why because they didnt want to be confronted? Whispering people doesnt help, it doesnt unkick you. It wont make you feel better. Just let it go
They would like people to type in “Agree” or “Yes” or “Disagree” or “No” or something similar; otherwise, I suspect they feel like people just click yes out of habit.
This is not about the reason, but I thought that was semi-clear from the OP
