Harder to target in PvP. The joke’s on them because I 100% tab target in PvP.

She’s too cute to kill. I would just be standing spamming /boop, while she murders me.

This is only true when it’s applied to Vulpera. Plus, who doesn’t want to have a cute fox ?

You asked a question that is thoroughly coated in insults. It’s not a stretch to see why someone might object to your approach. A simple, “I’m curious, what do you like about Gnomes?” would have sufficed.

Gnomes are the superior race. Deal with it.

Everything I wrote is objectively true though. I didn’t mean it as an insult, I just stated facts

Why in the trash. High Knees is one of the best runs. They are dead, should be depressed, yet instead have this happy run animation. I pretend mine is thrilled she gets to murderize things.

If you’ve never rolled a gnome war, you wouldn’t understand

They pull off the mad scientist feel pretty well and look very good in Warlock armor sets. Flying around the my Felsteel Annihilator is straight vibing.

The extra int used to matter, escape artist still sort of matters, and it’s the smallest hit box for PvP.

Gnome + any shrink is no joke, especially if you play something like Demon loc with a lot of pets out.

It was the swing animation for me. I care more about that than almost anything. The gnome looks like a toddler swinging a big stick, but like giving it his absolute all. Toss an enchant on, and now it’s a tiny little Jedi who can draw out a nerd rage so deep in others that some Horde make alliance toons just to scream at you.
TL;DR: The schadenfreude.

The racial’s actually pretty good. Zpye (I think) played gnome priest in the AWC a few years back because the meta thing to run was chaos cleave, so he used gnome freedom racial to line them. It almost worked.

Other than that, obviously aesthetics, some people like other things, so on.

Because they have a sorta messed up story and tend to fit the “crafty small race” trope that they do in other settings along side hobbits.

Fel I RP a gnome hunter from Gilneas who’s only real claim to her tech based heritage is her gun and its fun as all get out.

I’ve ironically been petted as a Zandalar

That’s amusing, but the booping snoots as Worgen and vulpera…

Idk, to each their own.

I even played one for awhile back in Wrath simply because they are closer to my rl height than dwarves are but pretty close.

Plus I made mine back then a vicious little ankle biter, even had a guild dedicated twards them that was called “Evil Little Monsters”. I even remember in bgs back then there was nothing more disturbing than hearing that coming out of stealth sounds and hearing that laugh.

So yeah, alot of us found gnomes more intimidating than dwarves.

I rolled up a gnome or two and even once, did a mechagnome.

I play only female characters and the female gnome battle cry is hilarious. On a plate character, deck them out in the biggest clunkiest armor and they look like a round wrecking ball of destruction.
Playing a tank toon in a dungeon, you can’t even see them, just a pile of trash baddies thrashing about on top of your character.

So, I play them because they are funny.

My wife is absolutely obsessed with olives. Especially black ones.
To me they taste like the most foul thing in the world. They’re so vile that if there’s olives on a Pizza, and I pick them off, it still tastes revolting to me. Just the hint of olive essence will eliminate my appetite.

There is nothing in this world she could say to me that will make me understand why she loves olives. The “why” isn’t important. I just accept it as a fact of life.

That is how I also feel about Gnomes.
