Player Nameplates

Since 10.1 All player nameplates only work for current target.

Everyone else around you will have their nameplates completely disabled and you will only see their names while current target will be the only visible nameplate.

Npc nameplates still work fine.

I have tried disabling all addons, cvar reset, deleting WTF folder, nothing works.
Always show nameplates option is on.

Please fix this asap as this makes pvp unplayable!

Yeah, PvP is unplayable with this bug. Needs to be fixed ASAP, huge oversight.

Having the same isssue. Tried resetting cvars and all. This is no bueno.

same issue, spent whole time trying to fix only play WM so everything is unplayable right now.

I’m having the same issue. Just spent an hour trying to cycle through addons and settings and restarting trying to fix it myself. It’s really effecting my ability to see anything in PvP. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Update for me: The script worked!!! Tytytyty.
For those if it doesnt work.
-disable all addons -reload UI -run script
Should work after that :slight_smile: Hope it did.

For those where the script isn’t working, try typing it in yourself. I know it sounds ridiculous but when I copied it in, it wouldn’t work however, when I typed it myself, it did.

has BlizzardCS acknowledged this bug yet?.. like what are they doing… pvp is unplayable for 60-70% of the players

PVP is unplayable! Script didn’t work. Typing it in myself didn’t work, even after turning off ThreatPlates.

Guys, try disabling all your addons, then

/console cvar_default

reset your ui with that, then try

/run SetCVar(“nameplatePlayerMaxDistance”, 60)

next time let’s make it clear that this is an ENTIRE UI reset, i’m now redoing my entire UI while attempting to fix one small chunk of it

it’s sad that the UI overhaul has done nothing but cause problem after problem and everytime i’m the one who has to fix it

i’ll also tack on that your advice didn’t even fix the problem of nameplates not showing up, with no addons, nameplates always on etc
