Enemy player nameplates not showing

Since the update (and yes I disabled all of my addons), enemy player nameplates have not shown up unless I click on them.

Me too. Tried disabling everything and it didn’t do anything. Asked in chat and some others were having the same problem.

Bump, same issue as OP - Enemy Player nameplates are not showing unless targeted - my guess would be that they messed something up when trying to fix hunter nameplate bug.

Game is unplayable please fix. I can’t see any enemy nameplates.

Same issue here. I can only see the name plate of the enemy I have targeted, but the other nearby enemies don’t show at all. Really frustrating in BGs.

Same problem as well as my guildies, so def a Blizz issue. They always manage to break a core feature that kills the experience with a major content patch.

same issue this bug has ruined getting to play the new content

same for me, friendly nameplates are not showing up unles i click on allies

I can see enemy nameplates but not friendly. I normally use Plater and whether it’s enabled or not, I cannot see friendly plates.

If you’re unable to see friendly/enemy nameplates in the new patch, paste the following into chat to fix it:

/run SetCVar("nameplatePlayerMaxDistance", 60)

Thanks to CriticalFloop on Reddit for the fix!
