Sure use one of the many chat addons out there pritty sure every single one out there has that option least every one I have seen dose.
use addon Prat, it shows class colors, you can copy links

Addons. Prat is my personal preference, but there’s no shortage of them.

Leatrix plus is light and have a lot of awesome features such as class colors in chat.

I can also vouch for Leatrix. There are two separate add-ons I use with that, one being Leatrix Plus and the other being Leatrix Maps. I forget which one has the chat colors in it but they’re both pretty good add-ons. It’s pretty handy to be able to tell what class somebody is straight from the chat panel.

Use leatrix… its a massive QOL addon that does a ton of things … such as name class color.
It’s not too confusing either… Just sets values of things to how you like.
Honestly one of the best addon’s in the game.
You can get class color on names in chat without addon, just type /console SET chatClassColorOverride "0" into chat and hit enter, and from now on you’ll see class color on peoples names.

It’s in the chat panel options, same as in retail.
I use elvUI and it’s built in.

I can’t find it on the chat settings (on the place that is in retail)
Use the command line then.
Yet another feature missing from the modern wrath client… I’m pretty sure this existed back in the day but you had to manually turn it on by checking all the chat channel boxes.
However this doesn’t seem to be an option at all, it’s just missing…
