can we please get player housing next expansion? if not can we at least get guild hall/housing where guildies can hang out? and maybe let there be guild only group activities/quests with unique rewards so me and my guildies can do things together

Ion has stated that this is something they do continue to work on, but it is a rather big task. While I don’t think they’ll add it in The War Within, cause that would have been a huge Blizzcon announcement, I do think we will see it sooner rather than later. Question is what shape will the housing take.

actually i want guild housing more than player housing. guild housing + guild only quest/activities with unique rewards can encourage guild members to be more active in their guilds

That isn’t even close to being player housing. I spent six hours this morning decorating and building in a handful of my houses in another game. Had to craft some stuff and buy a few items then chilled with coffee and got to work. I could put anything anywhere even floating in the air. No comparison to garrisons at all!

Guild housing they already said no to that. I can’t remember the exact response as to why, but part of it was, “guild housing is fun for the guild leader, not for anyone else.”

are you sure? because everyone seems to be complaining that they don’t have player housing… if i were them, i would just go play the games that already have player housing and enjoy it there.
wrong. if they provide unique guild quest/activities reward like xmog, pet, mount etc. then it will be fun for guild members as well. they were just lazy imo. an example of this would be guildies only dragon riding race.

One reason only, because it’s fun. And in this game everything would look different because the art style is not the same. The visual assets they decorate places with in WoW look awesome and we could make amazing houses with it.

well if WoW already has locations for you to enjoy with the amazing assets and decorations, why do you need your own player housing?
can’t you just sit near one of the “awesome” looking locations in wow and enjoy that?

Oh no it isn’t the same at all. We could pick and choose from those assets and make a place unique that suited our aesthetics and style. It would be OUR home, done up just the way we’d like it if it were real.

We already have it, you’d be better off asking for updates/expansions to it instead of going off on a wild goose chase like so many on this forum like to do.
VERY unlikely. Blizzard’s one and only comment on this was: Guild housing sounds like great fun for the guild master, not so much for everyone else.
