Housing is just another version of Garrisons 2.0? it was a bad idea. ever… everyone was alone the game was empty… I dunno… then they did in Legion some class halls thingy Also failed was okish I guess fun while it lasted…
I dunno, as long as it’s optional I don’t mind it.
They need to update Org+Stormwind cities… in General the graphics there is kinda outdated.

Blizzard doesn’t have the skills to handle such an elaborate task. They’re simple minded and just want quick cash, therefore just expect more stuff in the store and less effort from them in the game. Sad but yah

True player housing is SUPPOSED to be optional, that’s the point of it. Much like how Transmog and Pet Battles are.

Claiming the garrison is player housing is like saying adding shredded cheese to a Hot Pocket is ‘cooking’.
We’re asking Blizzard for a steak, knowing they’re capable of making one, but instead they plop a half-frozen Hot Pocket with Kraft shreddy on top.

I rather like Taliesen’s idea; he rambled about a potential next expansion which involves privateers and suggested that we each get a ship to travel between a large series of island environments, and the ship is basically our house that we can decorate and furnish. He suggested that with the new system of travel created to enter and leave the Cavern, that could be transferred to a ship form of travel between islands, rather than the usual instance-to-instance method. I like that idea - while it isn’t the classic notion of player housing, its probably one they could manage more easily.
It would be a limited location, but it could be a starting point for a more simple PH system across the game.

Just going to point out, if Blizz had started working on player housing in the background when it was first asked for, we would probably have it by now. They rather keep up this false claim that in order to pull it off, it would cost resources from other types of content.

Yeah, its like saying that the they can only fill up a bottle so far, as if they cant just switch to a larger bottle. Development teams don’t have a cap, just add another damned team and have them create housing and watching the casual players flock back in, and earn enough extra cash to pay for that team, and more.
