I’ve never played Runescape but what you’re describing sounds good. I like the idea of constructing housing.

If blizzard wanted to put it in the game, or work on it in any capacity, they would’ve by now.

Just a heads up though. The grind on the construction stat is EXTREMELY HUUUUUUUUUUUGE. Like… HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE.

I mean, yes, until you make a thread saying you’re bored. Then you need to have every achievement in the game otherwise you can’t possibly be bored.

sorry but you cannot force anyone to want this feature. just because you want it and are constantly spamming the forums about it does not mean everyone else wants it. and as long as i am here, and i have been here since orcs and humans and tides of darkness and beta, i will constantly be sure to present counter arguments as to why this will be a failure on every level.
just because you want it does not mean it will be good or that everyone else wants it.

It would take a ton of dev time. Like an expac worth. The interview has been posted like 100 times in these threads.
No you’re good, I like your opinions. I just think
- More people would enjoy player housing than you think. I could be wrong, but I see more than 3 or 4 people talking about it, and not everyone posts on these forums who has an interest in it.
- Garrisons we’re designed as a feature tied to WoD. Set up a base in Draenor to do what needs to be done while we’re there, and that’s it. No outside activities designed for it because it was never meant to be anything more than that.
I don’t ever expect player housing in WoW because that doesn’t seem to be a focus or priority with them, and that’s fine. I just think there are so many fun activities that could be tied to it, and it’s another dimension and feature that’s lacking in WoW which I feel is still the King of MMOs.

Main point is that it isn’t speculation to say they are going to tie things to this feature if it is ever implemented because it’s literally what they do with everything.
Blizz isn’t going to make player housing and tie nothing to it that will bump engagement numbers. It’s their bread and butter to do so.
Can’t discuss player housing if you know nothing about it.
And I’m not wasting time with a noob.
