I will have to search for that other game, to see what you’re referring; WoW can use as base the one this post is referring, and use any others ones as reference for making something greater. ^_-

I really love the housing in ESO. You can’t make neighborhoods because everybody can buy the same house, they’re instanced. However you can get houses all over the game world of all different sizes and designs and have upwards of 20 visitors at a time.

You can decorate them in any way you want, the only limit is your imagination. Point of fact I just purchased another house in that game two days ago and am having a ball decorating the thing. I’m adding multiple floors inside and adding a raised gazebo/deck out back overlooking the ocean. It’s really a lot of fun!

Shame WoW does not have this feature.

I am glad that you liked the Topic Idea and thanks for the ideas you added.

They can also create Class looking houses version, they could create so many things, by creating something like the MMO Game called EverQuest neighborhood & guild hall, but in the WoW style and much better in every aspects. I would love to see this a reality! :slight_smile:

yes-it’s all already mostly in place with our wod garrisons. almost like they were planning to do this and then decided not to for some reason. i’ve been mad all this time that my garrisons are just sitting there useless when they could be turned into something really cool

Yes, hopefully they take this request in consideration and create something great using as base the EverQuest MMO Game housing system; Neighborhood and Guild Hall. With that, they should merge everything related to Housing, as Garrision, Class Hall, Etcetera, into one zone for everything, The Neigboorhood. Zone that will connect the Guild players housing and the Guild Hall.

Been wanting it for years to have a “home” to hearth too. Garrison is way dated and not worth building up for a “home”

Yes please. Would love to see a revamped garrison system. Would be cool for guilds to have a space. Guilds could choose from fortifications, airships, ships, cathedral, etc.

Agree 100%, same here! Yes, the WoW “Garrison” it is not exactly as the one this post (topic) It is requesting, this request It is like the one that the MMO game EverQuest have; That you can place your items, Mounts, Pets, etcetera in your Plot and in your Guild Hall, Guild Hall It is a great gathering place.

I want to be able to customize our Housing and Guild Hall ZONES, and to see others creativity.

Garrisons are basically player housing. An old feature but still pretty useful. Takes awhile to do all the Draenor questlines but its worth it.

i would only want housing if it were like EQ2 housing
but WoW does not have the proper tradeskills to support it, you would need things like woodworking, metalworking etc so players could build things to put inside the house.

could monetize it too if you wanted and players could sell furniture or decorations for your house.

i want some mage organization to sell us magical phase zippers.

you could place a small floating zipper in an area of the map that isnt named, and when you enter it you can build in a sizeable phased area around where you placed the zipper. it’d be like your own phase where ever you want it to be, if people want to live in the same spot the zipper would have a list of people who’s doors you can knock on.

for me, if we get true player housing, id love for people to be able to utilize the world of Warcraft to find a home. rather than just some suburbia place added just for the feature.

i have already seen what players can do with kind of freedom because some private servers of past let people do exactly this, without fancy ui, and it was awe inspiring. every placed object in this game has an ID and can be spawned, people got insanely creative with that many assets.
