As someone who loves player housing… I hate everything about the OP’s ideas and despise guild housing.
Blizz also said no to guild halls/housing.

Yes, the most closer thing I feel it is the Warlords of Draenor expansion, Shadowmoon Valley, The Garrison.
I hope this Idea of ‘Player Housing in World of Warcraft’ be made, and soon!.
Thanks for the support.
Yes! The ones who disagree and do not like the idea, they can then just ignore it when they make this happen.
…Us all, who like the Idea of ‘Player Housing in World of Warcraft’, will enjoy it 100%.
TO BE ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR OWN GUILD HALL AND HOUSES WITH THE COLLECTED ITEMS, BATTLEPETS AND MOUNTS, ETC.
This perspective is why garrisons didn’t really work. I respect it, because it’s good to try and take new angles, but at the end of the day players want player housing as a form of enjoying their own achievements, as an artistic endeavor (in the better systems that allow a lot of creativity), and to facilitate certain kinds of RP events.
Just like transmog, not everything that’s a strong draw directly feeds back into a gameplay loop and sometimes trying to force the issue just results in a lesser product.
This post is referring directly to the one from the old MMO Game called ‘EverQuest’. I invite you all to search it out for having a better idea.
We want something like that, but a much better one as World of Warcraft (Blizzard Entertainment) can do.
Thanks for the support.
Yes, we are referring to the zone and alike to the one from EVERQUEST game. we have been requesting It. I suggest to you all on doing the same thing for calling their attention on it and make it happen.
While In-Game press “ESC” then “SUPPORT” then “SUBMIT SUGGESTION”.
Tell them about it and use this Forum Post Name: “Player Housing in World of Warcraft”.
Thanks for the support.
Yes. I bet Blizzard (World of Warcraft) can make something similar, alike, to the one from the old and inactive ‘Massive Multiplayer Online’ game called ‘EverQuest’.
That can call the attention from many MMO players around all games and bring them to World of Warcraft.
Rift had some pretty good player housing, only time I’ve ever messed with it.
I made a beautiful fantasy village, so much time and effort, and after 2 months I was about done, and had started a new project and one day I accidently overwrote my big project with the new one.
I officially retired from anything to do with player housing that day.

"The ‘Garrison’ and the ‘Class Hall’ could be something integrated into the ‘Guild Hall’.
…Games like ‘EverQuest’ created a Housing area and It is one or the best thing ever happened to that game, as you could use your own collected Items, Mounts, Pets, to decorate your own place.
Unfortunately I never played EQ. Wildstar had the best housing of any mmo I have played (so it is my golden standard) and I have played alot. Just not EQ.
so everyone can hang out in their own instance all day and make the world feel dead? NTY dumb idea
Big oof.
Well after SWtOR basically lost all of its good gameplay (except for GSF, a surprisingly robust multiplayer PvP fighter combat mode) I stuck with the game because you could do some deep stuff with housing if you had a lot of stuff (and I did). I miss my strongholds often.
Not enough to go back because the game’s on turbo life support, but I do miss them.
Absolutely this. However, unlike either of those, you could set the instance to an independent zone, still making it a single location you access, but allowing a lot of people to join for parties. I could see each major city having “a house or hut” somewhere in town, instanced the way the old Champions Hall used to be. But I would vote against anything that even looked or smelled like the Garrison. Maybe something more Ornate, like how they did Class Halls.

If you can search the one from the old and inactive game called “EverQuest”, that’s exactly what we want, but with the Blizz (WoW) graphics and way of gaming style.
Okay you get player housing, but it requires a special wow currency and you have to pay rent for it every month or else you get evicted by the goblin renters. You also have to bid normal gold on a housing spot, so good luck for a good area that isn’t being bid on by a guy with gold cap alts.
I’ve only ever played with player housing in one game, and that was Runescape almost 20 years ago.
I loved it! They added in a new profession so you actually built your house from the ground up, and all the furniture inside it. I wish I could recover my old account so I could revisit the house I built.
That’s the type of system I would love to see in WoW, tbh.
No to neighbourhoods.
No to buying plots. ESO does that and as a full subscription game we should not be selling housing, either for gold or real money.
You are talking about Final Fantasy style housing and I’d hate to see that type of thing put into Wow.
IMO they will never do a guild-housing style addition, they can see from experience how giving guilds special benefits can be a disaster.
Your idea is just too complicated, unnecessarily. Make one or more (preferably more) instanced locations across the game where you can establish a home. You can port to it. You can choose a style, there may be even be ingame options to increase its size over time with ingame effort and activities. You can decorate it and improve it. That is all that a house needs to be.
those weren’t instanced you could literally fly right into the druid one and hunter one you just got kicked out if you weren’t that class…when you take a port from org to dornogol are you instanced or still in the open world?
Thanks for the support.
Yes, can you imagine! It would be great!!
A place in where you could be able to customize your own Plot (House) and decorate it with any cool Rewards that you have earned In-Game: Items, Mounts, Battlepets, Etcetera.
Also, visiting others Guild-Mates houses to see their decoration (if they have set the house access to public).
It will be great, compete and challenge yourself in having a cool design on them. ^_-
Of all the things that guilds can abuse, I am not sure how guild housing would be a problem, as long as the guild housing isn’t tied to progression gameplay loops – and there’s no reason to do so.
