Have you tried Palia yet Sendryn its quite really good and Palia is free to play…
First thing I do when I get make a new character is get the garrison hearthstone and get it up to level 2, open up the AH, bank and guild bank.
my guess is Ion wont allow a hearth to any player housing like ESO does…just a guess based on his past behavior. And IF thats the case I probably would use the garrison more than housing because of the hearth. I can hearth, park and log out for the day.
If I have to hearth to SW, then run out of that tower, fly over to the house, its just more time before I shut down and go do other things…at that rate the garrison is just more convenient.
I’d still farm stuff for the house, I just wouldnt be using it as much. Wouldnt be in there as often.

I played RuneScape back in the day and they also had player housing. We had a new skill added called Construction. From what I remember, we would level up construction in order to learn and build new items in our houses. It was fun and had a feeling of accomplishment. I do hope that WoW can do something similar in future but only if we aren’t able to use trade chat.

In other games I go into my house and talk to myself and pretend i have friends.
RP venues would really benefit from housing. People can create or recreate scenes from movies,
Wildstar, as much as people gave it flak, had the best housing, ever.

Seems like the problem with housing is it would need to move around with the game or it ends up like the farm we had in MoP.
Great game Palia is just wish we had Palia’s housing in WoW…
Easy fix is a hearthstone set for your house area…simple as that now…I mean we have all kinds of hearthstones now to different places what’s one more going to do …just add it like the others make it toy like the other new ones.
I’d be happier with Old Republic’s system in WoW, tbh. They can create that easier and do more with it on a smaller budget, imo.
But yeah, my Palia plot is fantastic right now! I’m almost done with the main one and then I’ll start building a second. 'Cause I can.

Damn that is most awesome housing area now…damn fine job there…as for Old Republic’s I never played that so I have no idea what its like…

Playing some Palworld, building bases is pretty fun–takes up the bulk of my time in that. I see the appeal–it’s just something fun/sorta creative to do in game.
Check out Palia its free to play and has some awesome housing in it…

Old Republic is instanced, it’s set buildings. So if you go to your Coruscant apartment, it’s at the top of a building and you zone into the main room, which has hallways and other rooms off of it. It also has an outdoor balcony. It’s small. Compared to Alderaan, where you zone into a valley with snowy mountains surrounding you, where you’ve got an entire indoor and outdoor area with a castle to decorate, along with a little hidden cave behind a waterfall and a ship landing pad.
Old Republic uses a hook system. Small, medium, large, centerpiece, ship sizes for the hooks. You can change the layouts a bit, there are hooks for the walls, too, but only certain decos fit on certain hooks.
You pay to unlock the stronghold and then you have unlocks within the stronghold to open it up more. Now… I don’t think WoW needs unlocks inside the houses, but with the way the pristine Archaeology artifact placement worked, I can see them expanding that system to be similar to Old Republic hooks.
