i really want to know why you want a second player house.
why do you need two houses?
you technically can have two houses right now:
one house in frostfire ridge
a second house in shadowmoon valley
why do you NEED a THIRD player house?
iām sorry but you donāt always get what you wantā¦ you have player housing located in the continent of draenor and you donāt need any more houses in the game. sorry but its just not gonna happen.
i would suggest you learn to love your current house in draenor.
this is a classic case of āyou think you do, but you donāt.ā if blizzard took the time to give you a THIRD player house (the garrisons in shadowmoon valley and frostfire ridge constitute two unique houses already), you would just complain that you donāt enjoy it, the same way you are currently complaining about your already two existing player houses.
Anyways, continuing clown antics aside-
I was mostly joking about the lava lamps for alchemy, but what are some other decorative type things that profession could make?
Tailors and leather workers could make upholstered things and decorations, for starters.
Thatās not a joke, Iād unironically love a good lava lamp in my home in Silvermoon City
And because itās WoW, they could be literally made of lava
First, I donāt consider Garrisons player housing as they do not meet a majority of industry standard requirements, and even the Devs have admitted this and say they need time to work on true player housing. They go so far as to point out that even among their own faculty its constantly brought up as they try to figure how best to do it going forwards.
Second, not your concern why I want player housing in WoW.
I would suggest you learn to deal with new things being added to games over time, sometimes you may not use them yourself or think that theyāre not needed but they will happen.
Iād also recommend you figure out why you get so vehemently hurt over other people wanting something you donāt. Its not healthy hun.
Jewelcrafters could make all sorts of doodads and decorations. Alchemy could easily make things like lamps actually. A lot of lamp designs for wow are Alchemical in nature. Even many of the torches. So Alchemy can definitely make things for Player housing.
Inscription could make likeā¦wall maps too.
Imagine if you needed something from EVERY profession to make a Barber Chairā¦
I could easily see Leatherworkers and Blacksmiths making some ābase itemsā that could then be further modified by Jewelcrafters and such.
The drake armor color unlocks that could be created with a fusion of leatherworking and inscription in this expansion are a good example.
Blacksmiths could make chandeliers, lamps, and other metal-based decorations.
Engineers could make whacky gizmos.
Leatherworkers could make taxidermied trophies.
Inscription could make various kinds of ink-based artwork.
Your opinion is noted. Iāll be disregarding it.
Kthxbye.
Oooo yeah, all kinds of goofy steampunk stuff for those who are into that and then some more muted clocks for the more classic fantasy discerning individual.
That would definitely fill out a bunch of recipes. Maybe doing Loremaster or Explorer for each zone would unlock the ability to draw a stylized map of it? Iād love to have a big nostalgic map of Teldrassil hanging on my wall.
is there not enough room in your two current houses to place your toys such as
Leather Love Seat (crafted by leather workers, added in patch 7.0.3.22248
S.E.A.T - set up a vaguely comfortable mechanical seat, added in patch 10.0.0.46247
Very Comfortable Pelt - Lounge Around, Maruuk Style
Whale Bone tea Set - Serve tea with your whale bone tea set.
Skinny Reliquary Pillow - Place the pillow at your feet.
Small Triangular Pillow - place the pillow at your feet
All of these are just some examples of the very many furniture-oriented toys you are free to place in your already existing player houses located on the continent of draenor.
You donāt need new houses with new furniture because you already have an existing house and loads of options you can use to customize them with furniture toys!
yay for player housing in draenor and all the toys to make our furniture customized as we want it! woohoo!
you could literally set up your leather lounge seat and have whalebone tea parties in your current house! so exciting and immersive!
oh, you mean the authoritative convention on video game habitats? yeah i would assume that the ACVGH would be completely fine with garrisonās standards as player housing.
The clown brings up a good point, accidentally.
Itād be neat to see some of those old toys be automatically incorporated into the new furniture system.
blizz could even give us some nice bowls of fruit pics to hang on the walls.
jk, i wouldnāt mind housing myself
oh, well i have good news for you friend, you already have player housing located in the continent of Draenor, they are called garrisons!
Iād honestly be disappointed if that picture wasnāt a decoration option after all the meming.
ā¦as permanent fixtures instead of temporary toys, yes.
I dont want player housing now. I have a feeling Acti-Blizz would turn it into a questing hub and add in a bunch of stuff from the Blizzard store for you to get to build it up.
So it would basically be a worse version of the garrisons.
Right, naturally.
And not just furniture, I feel like thereās a lot of ācreate an objectā toys that could see permanent use in housing.
Eh, I think most people who want housing are realistic about the fact that there would probably be some shop stuff related. Personally, as long as everything in the shop remains purchasable with gold through tokens, it is what it is. And as long as thereās still plenty to go after in game.
wait, why do u need a new system of player housing if you plan to use current toys?
is your current player house not big enough to fit these toys?
oh wait, i just checked over at my garrison and had all the room to place all of these toys down at once, and still enough room left to invite my friends over to have a nice cup of whalebone tea
yup, my thoughts exactly.
